Great tutor search.
My experience so far using this tutoring company has been good. Was able to line up a good tutor to come to my house to turn it Tutor my granddaughter without difficulty. The Tutor we ultimately hired is a good fit for my granddaughter.

Great All-Around Experience!
I was referred to WyzAnt by a fellow student in my Ph.D. program, and wasn't sure what to expect. From day 1, I have had a great all-around experience with WyzAnt! I was able to use WyzAnt's system to conduct a comprehensive search for someone with expertise in Multilevel Modeling/Hierarchical Linear Modeling, a fairly advanced and specific type of statistical analysis. I met with 2 potential tutors, and found exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Now I'm making progress toward my goals. Thanks!

Extremely convenient.
My tutor was very flexible about meeting with me on short notice. The meeting location at the Main Library was convenient. He was on time and tuned in to how he could best help me. I also appreciate being able to make payments through paypal and that this is handled automatically. In general, this has been a positive experience and I would recommend WyzAnt to others.
Found a great tutor and have experienced excellent customer service
Our first choice of tutor never responded (I'm sure requests don't come in every day)and customer service called us immediately to encourage us to try another. We received a similar email from WyzAnt. Our office is using a tutor to help an employee improve grammar and writing. We'd already picked out our top three choices so it was easy to move to our next choice who responded immediately. At the moment we are considering a 5 session trial not only to see how the tutor performs but for employee interest. As the supervisor, I've been extremely pleased with Marcia's communication and so far the employee is highly motivated. From what our employee has shared, Marcia has been right on the money communicating to the employee her weak areas (but in a positive way) and the two seem to work well together. We're watching to see what kind of progress will be made but I can say the experience couldn't be easier in terms of lining up a qualified tutor and paying for services. A+!

WyzAnt Tutoring - EXCELLENT RESOURCE
WyzAnt has been an excellent resource in assisting me with finding a math tutor for my high school honors brief calculus student. My daughter is doing very well in her math class and has developed an great rapport with her tutor. With her tutor's help and support, my daughter is expecting to have a much easier year this year than she has had in previous years in math.
Easy to find the right tutor!
I used wyzant as a last minute decision to get a tutor before my test and I am glad that I did. It was easy to find exactly the right tutor for what I needed help with and each tutor is very descriptive in their page so that helped too. I liked this site and if I need a tutor again I will definitely consider coming back here to find the right tutor to help.

Finding the right tutor was easy!
The process to search for and select the WyzAnt tutors for my daughter was super easy! We now have 2 WyzAnt tutors, one specializing in SAT English and the other in SAT Math and my daughter loves them both. Great Tutor
In my experience with your tutor it has been very good. She has taught my grandson how to do many things that he would never have learned in school. Now that summer is over and he will be back in school we will wait until Christmas to do this again. I want to Thank You very much for being so helpful.
Excellent service and tutoring so far
After 3 meetings with our tutor, I'm very pleased with the WyzAnt experience. We're paying way less than previously for someone who seems more experienced, and much more attuned to the dynamics and process of learning. And she comes to our house! The set up was painless. So far so good.

Very easy to use website, finding a tutor was very simple. I really like that you can view a tutor's profile and be selective on your own terms. Customer service is great and I'm very satisfied with the services. I plan on using them again if I need them and would recommend to anyone needing a tutor.
Quality tutors, User friendly
WyzAnt is an excellent source for locating a qualified tutor in the area. Originally we paid an exorbitant amount of money, and drove 45 minutes, to a tutoring facility on the Main Line. The results of the subject SAT's was no better than our child's first practice round at the facility. We have now turned to WyzAnt for in-home SAT tutoring. Although our child has only received a few sessions, she feels the tutors are providing much more insight on the material presented. Highly recommend.
Apprehensive but pleased!
I have to say that I was apprehensive about using a middle man to find and or pay a tutor. I found a great tutor using Wyzant and scheduled 22 sessions for the fall. The thing I like most is not having to deal with payments. I think that having to worry about payments and the politics of payments really takes away from the learning atmosphere. I also like receiving emails weekly with reviews of my lessons. It helps me keep track of what I'm studying and how I'm progressing.
Easy Experience

Great customer support
I have used your tutoring website for the first time this past week and I am very impressed with your service. We were desperate for a math tutor and needed someone quickly to help my daughter pass her math finals. Several tutors contacted us right away and we met with our first tutor and it turned out that she was not a good fit for us for a variety of reasons. We were discouraged but went back to emails and found tutor #2 who was a perfect fit for us. I called WyzAnt and spoke to customer support about our first experience and you told me about your good fit guarantee and ended up crediting me back for an hour of the session that was with the tutor who was not a good fit for us, which I really appreciated. Within short notice, I was able to find few tutors for different subjects from WyzAnt. My child was having a hard time understanding few subjects. The WyzAnt tutors really helped. I do not want to say they are the best; but I want to say, they were helpful at a bad time, when my child was struggling. I do recommend WyzAnt tutors.

Excellent Customer Support
I have received excellent customer service from WyzAnt. I had several tutors responding to my request for services, and I found one that is very good and reasonably priced. I had to pay $35 just to use another company/website, and I didn't get any followup from them at all - it was a waste of money! I appreciate the fact that there is no cost to use your WyzAnt website. I would definitely refer you to friends and family.
Excellent Tutor!
I've been working with my tutor for a couple weeks now to prepare me for the math portion of my GED. I already feel more confident with my mathematics skills. She's very kind and helpful. If I happen to get stumped on something she's always very patient with me and will figure out ways to simplify the problem so I can understand it more clearly. Amazing tutor and fantastic services!!!
From beginning to end, WyzAnt's services were phenomenal! I was looking for a Mandarin tutor for my teenage son over the summer. I started the process and immediately received emails from very qualified applicants. I was able to ask them questions and gain feedback about their experience, teaching philosophy, recommendations and availability before making my final selection. The service also provided a back ground check for me. We selected Tracy S. She was such an amazing person with a wonderfully positive attitude. My son truly enjoyed and benefited from his sessions with her. She gave me feedback both in person and via email as to what was covered in their appointment and how he was progressing. Tracy even had experience with students with learning disabilities, and this was very helpful to him. The cost of sessions were half of what I had been paying through other agencies. I appreciated the fact that she provided the tutoring at our home, as well. We bought a discounted package of sessions, but had to terminate services earlier than anticipated because my son's schedule changed. WyzAnt was very quick and efficient in refunding me my balance. I have referred both WyzAnt and Tracy to all of my friends, and look forward to using their services again also in the future!!! Well done WyzAnt and Tracy S.

I have been very happy with WyzAnt. It was so nice to be able to have a single place to locate a tutor on just about any subject. The payment is great too because I don't have to worry about having money on hand or pull out a check book after each visit. Michael is a really good tutor. Easy-to-use site and helpful Customer Support Reps
I found WyzAnt very easy to use and when I needed customer support, they answered the phone immediately and fixed my issue within 24 hours. They even followed up with an email to let me know it was taken care of! I have been very pleased with WyzAnt and my tutor as well.

Your website is very transparent. I can get the picture and the profile for an instructor and the fee he/she charges. I also can get information about how many hours the tutor has worked with your company. In addition, customers' reviews/comments about the teacher help a lot in making a decision. I can browse the website and take time to compare and contact tutors. Your payment method is also flexible. There's no hidden cost and the package discount is welcome. I tried another website for a music teacher and I don't get the tutor profile and fee range unless I talked to sales and that's something I don't like to do. So far I am very happy with the tutor and haven't got the experience of stopping the tutor service. I hope that will be a good experience too.

Amazing resource!
I have never used a tutor before but found myself needing one for an online course. Once I found the wyzant website, everything was easy and convenient... I found a tutor with a PhD in the subject matter I was studying and she was within a mile from my house! I couldn't be more happy with my experiences with wyzant!

This is a very useful web site. I needed help with my Algebra, so I found this web site, and I am glad I did. I have a great tutor. He is very helpful and he lives close enough so he can be here within minutes. Your web site is user friendly and very informative.
Great Tutor
My daughter has had three sessions now with her tutor to help her pass a high school biology class that she was failing - last test grade was an 85% - thanks to the different teaching techniques her tutor shared. Very happy with how things are going.

Wonderful Tutor
WyzAnt made it easy for me to choose a tutor that was close to my home and matched my needs. My tutor is a wonderful. Her wealth of knowledge on chemistry is absolutely beneficial to me, since I have none! She is kind and resourceful when explaining principles and formulas too. Payment is easy! I expected to hand my tutor a check on the first session, but I realized that I can add credit to my account! I never have to think of handing a check over, it's really convenient.

I thought that the WyzAnt folks did a great job of staying in touch with me. They monitored my contacts with prospective tutors and followed up with them if the tutors did not respond to my inquiries within the specified time. I received a telephone call after my first session with my tutor to see if I had any questions or concerns. After each lesson, I received a summary of what we had covered in the lesson and a request for me to give the lesson a rating. I did have one concern with one of the tutors, which may have been miscommunication between me and the tutor, but WyzAnt resolved the situation quickly when I brought it to their attention. At the end of my tutoring, I had a balance remaining on my account, and they arranged for a refund without delay. I would not hesitate to recommend WyzAnt's service.

Don't Waste Your Time Searching Anywhere Else For Tutors!
Having never tried to find a tutor, we obtained a business card in the classroom of the college for my daughter. The price to be charged was very expensive, and we were worried about the communication skills of the tutor, so we kept looking. We used another "local" website and waited days and days and never got responses. We put an inquiry into WyzAnt and within minutes, were contacted by one tutor. Within 24 hours, we had almost 10 responses. We are so pleased with the quality and quantity of the tutors, the flexibility of price ranges, and the willingness of the tutors to help the student to achieve success. If one tutor does not "fit", try another and another if needed. They are out there and WyzAnt has the best of the best. Thank you.
Very Satisfied with WyzAnt
WyzAnt has made the search for a good tutor super easy. There are plenty of tutors to choose from and each tutor has a detailed profile to help you make a selection. My son's tutor responds promptly to emails and is very experienced. Payment is super easy online and the online account lists out clearly the date and fee for each lesson. This was the second online site I tried. The tutors from the first site never responded to my inquires. Once I completed my request I was contacted the next day and my niece was meeting with her tutor that week. She had 4 sessions that really helped. Exceeded My Expectations
I needed help with Algebra in order to apply for a new position. I sent a request for a tutor skilled in Algebra, received a couple of replies and choose one based on his qualifications and his willingness to start tutoring me immediately. I only had a couple of weeks preparation time before the placement test and with his tutoring I am pleased to say I passed the test. I would highly recommend my tutor and WyzAnt.

My experience with WyAnt has been very favorable. From the initial contact with the company until now (weekly updates), I have been treated in a very professional manner. Great wyzant experience.
I'm the mother of a 14 yr old 8th grader that wasn't having much luck with the math teacher she had this year. She's normally an A-B student and finished Algebra with a D this year. After 1 week of working with her tutor she's half way through the algebra workbook and she's got a way better understanding. I think she'll be able to start learning Geometry before the summer is over. Finding a tutor was easy and wyzant has thought of every possible way to make using a tutor through them easy and SAFE! I feel very secure with every aspect of the help they've given and I would recommend anyone looking for a tutor to use wyzant to find them.
What an Experience
I was in need of a tutor and had no clue where to go. WyzAnt provided a simple way to gain access to the best! The tutor that I selected, Brian, was a BRAIN! He was always on time, committed and very patient. Because of his professionalism and attention to details, he was able to provide me with what I needed in order to pass my class. I am very satisfied with WyzAnt services for a math tutor, at first it was a little rocky. WyzAnt assured me that things would workout. They assisted with finding a math tutor and a reasonable price because I am on a tight budget after losing my house to foreclosure and returning to school. WyzAnt customer service is excellent with great interpersonal skills to help you get to where you want to be in your academics.

Tutor Search
I am impressed with Wyzant and the ease of finding a tutor. I really love the fact that you can see the picture of the tutor and what their areas of strength are with academics. I needed a tutor that was strong in trigonometry, calculus and statistics. I called a few and a few of them did call me. The prices are fairly reasonable. I really enjoy the fact that you make the student "rate" the tutor and the lesson. The tutor and the student should see how many hours of tutoring they're doing and their rating. It keeps the tutor humble and the "tutee" aware of their work. There was an ease of payment for lessons and I really enjoy the idea that the first lesson can be refundable, if not happy with the services. Customer service support was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I'm very impressed with Wyzant and would recommend you.

Wonderful experience!
Wyzant was a wonderful way for me to find a tutor for my daughter. Her tutor is absolutely wonderful and my daughter actually enjoys her visits. She is only 8 but i don't know any kid that wants to think about schoolwork in the summer - however Mrs. E makes it fun and again my daughter looks forward to her sessions!
Fantastic Range of Tutors
I am going onto my 4th session with my tutor now for a Pyschology Statistics Class. I am absolutely amazed by how great this tutoring service works and the tutors hired. I immediately received 3 replies from tutors in my area who all had statistics as a subject they taught. The tutor I selected has been so incredibly helpful over the last 5 hours spent together and I'm sure over the next few weeks. Would Definitely Recommend
We were skeptical of finding a tutor for advanced accounting over the internet. I like the process of reviewing available tutors to determine which one would suit me best. The tutor I decided on has been amazing! She has worked with me to understand the material to help prepare me for my mid-term. I'm going to continue meeting with her once a week to make sure I stay on top of it. I would definitely recommend WyzAnt.
Great Tutor for Dissertation Students
I have been with Jeff for several weeks now and he is very good with following your plan, explanations and patience. He works at your speed and he teaches you along the way. I new very little about how to do data entry to SPSS and now I am already inputting my data! Thanks to Jeff, I am even closer to completing my research data!

I hardly ever write reviews, but WyzAnt was totally worth it. This was the easiest thing I've ever put together for my kid. I just typed in the category and I was able to find tons of tutors right at my fingertips. I found one who looked great (was WAY overqualified) and who responded within an hour and was tutoring my child by that night. The payment system is beyond easy and takes all the guesswork out of it. And I absolutely loved that the tutor gives a review of the session afterwards. All in all, it was an excellent resource and I'll be returning and telling my friends about it. Bravo!

I have only used Wyzant to find a Russian language tutor. However, she is an excellent tutor, and Wyzant seems to me to be a valuable, well run service that's helpful both to the tutors and to the students.

I posted that I was looking for a tutor for my daughter for Chemistry and received responses from 5 different potential tutors. I liked that there are pictures available and that I can read about each tutor, see how they write, and read what they wrote about themselves in their background page. This is really what helped me choose the tutor for my daughter. I had questions about the discounted lessons before signing up so I contacted the toll free number and was helped by a really nice gentleman who answered all of my questions. So far I have been very happy with Wyzant and the best part is that my daughter really loves her tutor.
