Pleased with Tutor and Support Staff
I'm pleased with everything at WyzAnt from my tutor to the support staff. I couldn't be happier with the tutor I found. He is very knowledgeable in the French language and is extremely patient, flexible and simply a good person to work with. I would recommend him to anyone. Any glitches we've had in making connections has been at our end and all support staff have been extremely helpful in resolving all problems.
Helpful Tutoring
Easy to use and find a tutor that works for you. I am a person that requires a lot of structure when it comes to studying and my tutor gave me that. I needed more of a push and that is what this company provided for me.

Great Tutor Search
I was recently looking for tutoring for my daughter. She's in high school, and with her packed schedule, can't go to a tutoring center. I found some tutors on craigslist, but there is no way of knowing how good they are. WyzAnt has great reviews on tutors, so it's easy to find one with good reviews, so you know you're getting your money's worth!

Easy to Navigate and Use Website
This has been a great experience using WyzAnt to help me find a tutor for my daughter who has been struggling in AP World History. The search engine within WyzAnt enabled me to find an assortment of tutors available using my search criteria and had a wealth of information on each tutor, their availability, location and price. This helped me to choose who I wanted and the platform used to contact and continue communication with the tutor was great! Aside from ease of use of the website, my daughter and I have been very pleased with the tutor who has been courteous, helpful, and keeps in communication with me. The ease of PayPal is also convenient and I always get a summary of the session and how much the session cost.

I was skeptical at first that an online business could provide the level of quality and service needed for one-on-one tutoring. But I have been very impressed and pleased so far. A wide selection of tutors (which is good, because all learners have different learning styles), and an excellent system to meet and greet, and then select the tutor that best fits your situation, personality, environment, etc. Payment is swift, efficient and easy; good for everyone. And the tutoring, guidance, and learning being provided so far is very good and an excellent fit. Thank you - and bravo!
A wonderful service for the community
I am retired and recently moved to Austin from Virginia. I had enjoyed studying French for a number of years, WHEN I could find a tutor and WHEN the hourly rates were not ridiculously expensive. I finally gave it up when my last tutor raised her rates to $90/hr per person for simply leading a conversation group of 4, with mixed levels of fluency -- some could converse, some could not. Seriously, who makes $360 an hour for that kind of work? It was a pleasure to locate WyzAnt so easily (using Google) and to have my choice of tutor profiles and rates. As it happens, the first tutor I chose was perfect for me, but I could have tried others if it had not worked out so well. She is a native of France, with a classic accent, comes to my apartment for my lessons (I don't drive), and gives me interesting exercises to help me practice between lessons. Thank you, WyzAnt.

Easy to use; consistent help so far
Getting set up to go was easy. Customer service was attentive and got the job done. Both tutors (Photoshop and Final Cut Pro X) were excellent, listened well to my specific concerns, and got me going in the right direction with a new level of knowledge.

Best tutor service you'll find
If you're a parent with a struggling and frustrated student, this is the best service out there. My daughter's in high school physics and honors math classes, and I've taken her to tutor centers and have tried other tutor websites. The tutor centers sometimes don't give one on one attention and don't have the right tutors for every subject. And tutors on other websites I've reached out to never replied to my requests. I found two great tutors here who were immediately available and who've turned my daughter's grades and confidence completely around (Gilmore in Costa Mesa and Virpaul in Anaheim) Please see them if you can and need help in their areas of expertise!!

Efficient Tutor Search
I was taking the GRE in just two weeks and knew I needed a tutor. I found this website, a tutor with fantastic reviews and set up a meeting (during Thanksgiving break) all in just a day or two! It was so fast and efficient and the tutor was exactly what I needed to prepare for the exam.
Great Tutor Search
WyzAnt was a great search in finding tutors when I needed one for Micro Economics. It was an overall easy process to select a tutor viewing their profile and then reading their bio to see if they were a good match! What I really liked was that, once I was done with a lesson Jordan would submit the lesson to WyzAnt's database and then the payment would appear next to this name and I would rate him so super simple and easy!

I needed a tutor quickly and heard of WyzAnt through google.The website design is very professional, clean, and easy to navigate and allowed me to find a tutor within 10 minutes. I like that WyzAnt is free and unlike other websites where you have to pay to find a tutor.

Excellent tutor search website and services
It was so helpful to be able to use the WyzAnt website to find a local tutor for my son. I was able to find an excellent tutor as well as set up payment online. I am also happy that I was able to look at reviews, see if the tutor had had a background check and if the tutor specialized in Algebra. My experience with my son's tutor has been wonderful. He is patient and knowledgeable. He has been able to help my son get his grade in Algebra 2 to passing as well help him have better understanding of the concepts in Algebra.

Very easy website and professional company
Our experience with WyzAnt (and Tom, our tutor) has been very positive so far. Your website made it very easy to select a tutor. We have been extremely pleased with the tutoring sessions and the great communication from the company and the tutor. Wished we would have done this months ago.
Best website for finding a tutor
It is the best website for finding a good tour. Most of the tutors have reviews. By the way when you read their profile there is a lot of information about them that answers your questions. One of the most important things for me was their background checks and I am not worried about letting the tutor come to my home. Thank you.

Tutor bios are very helpful in finding the right "fit"
We've found two tutors through Wyzant, both of whom have been great fits. It's the information in the tutor bios that does the trick for us. I also like how easy it is to communicate with the tutors through Wyzant - especially knowing that I can generally expect an answer within a specified time period. The tutors notes are helpful as well. All in all I'm very happy with all aspects of Wyzant's service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

WyzAnt allowed me to stop fearfully worrying about what, who, where, and how I was going to introduce my child to receive and apply instructions by a professional with education background. The school system is broken, and I am unable to afford the cost of education I want to provide my young one. WyzAnt did all the leg work for me in finding all the qualified people where they could present their skills, abilities, track record, and success stories. No way could I have been able to vet people in a timely fashion, which would have been a further delay to what my child needed. I'm sure that WyzAnt has done the same for many of the tutors, opening opportunities for them to fulfill their passion, because these people devoting their time to individual help are the people that truly have a passion for their work. Where else in the world would I have been able to find a tutor with a professional background in psychology, and also secondary education that genuinely cares about the success of my child, is affordable, and a free service to search? I loved how easy it was to find a great tutor
My daughter was struggling with high school physics and I quickly needed to find a good tutor. Through WyzAnt, I was able to locate a tutor in my area and schedule her first tutoring lesson within just a few days. The first tutoring lesson went great, my daughter loved the experience and felt very comfortable with the tutor. Since then, we have had several more lessons and we couldn't be happier. Also, I love the fact that I do not have to worry about exchanging cash with the tutor each, session, it is all handled online and it is quick and easy and efficient. Highly recommend.

I just want to say I'm very happy I found this tutoring site.. I was having a difficult time passing the math part of the GED. But within a few weeks before my next exam . John C. gave me the 1 on 1 I really need it , which was answering all my questions and taking time to make sure I understood each math problem. I took the GED math exam again and passed. Great tutoring service
I found a tutor a with WyzAnt for my 1st grader who was having problems in math. In a short time my tutor was able to get my child from a D to a B in math. I'm so happy with this service and my tutor. I was able to choose who I wanted and the payments are easy and fair. I don't have to worry about making them, it is automatic so it makes it easy for me. I would recommend this service for tutoring.

Positive Experience!
I just wanted to rave about the positive experience my daughter has been experiencing during her 2 hour tutoring sessions. The excitement she has displayed over improving her SAT practice scores weekly is priceless. I am so happy I choose WyzAnt over Huntington Learning. The cost alone is a Bonus!! I know my daughter has already seen the improvement of her test scores. I know with her tutor's help and my daughter's commitment to do well on her next SAT test in December the outcome will only prove positive. You have created a service that is both affordable and shows proven results for the students you tutor. Everything very good so far. Billing and emails seems to be working well. There were several good candidates who responded quickly. Background check was very fast. Your customer service was fast, nice and competent. And best of all the ESL tutor is a great hit with my Mom. She is very kind and patient and makes learning fun for my 86 year old mother. We are very happy so far.

User Friendly
This website has changed my life- I only wish we would have found it earlier. My daughter is really enjoying her pre-cal tutor and has actually given her a ton of confidence in a subject that just seemed to frustrate her more than anything. I try and refer everyone that I meet that has tutor needs. It seems to be a great addition to her great teachers in high school... very pleased!
