Great Spanish Tutor Found
My needs are fairly unique. I want to learn conversational Spanish. I took 4 years in high school back in the 70's. I learn pretty well on my own with books and tapes, but I really need to practice conversation. WyzAnt found me a charming local tutor. We discuss weather, family, travels, current events. It has really beefed up my Spanish and it's a lot of fun.

Very helpful tutor search service and follow up
Wyzant helped me find a very nearby tutor for my daughter's French lesson with excellent reviews and now with whom we are having an excellent experience! Wyzant also makes paying for tutorial teaching sessions so simple and quick, there is no need to have to remember to send monthly checks or anything like that...very convenient indeed.

I have used other companies for tutoring and so far WyzAnt is my favorite. One other company charges a flat $50/hr and sometimes the tutors are so-so but so far I haven't had that experience with WyzAnt. The only negative I have is that the tutors count every minute. If the session is 65 minutes, they charge that extra 5 minutes whereas the other sites would have rounded that off to 1 hour only.
Easy Steps To Get Tutor For Granddaughter
We realized that we could help make a lasting impression on our granddaughter who was having troubles with schoolwork. We just didn't know exactly how. The idea of a tutor was explored online and through WyzAnt we were able to check the credentials of tutors in our local area. One perfect choice emerged. His years of experience, his breadth of Knowledge and skill set, and his warm smile and manner made him our choice and our granddaughter just thought he is "cool". Our experience has been really good. We had several tutors respond to our initial e-mail request. We made a decision on a tutor within a week or so. The tutor seems to be a good personality fit for our son. He's very patient and he explains the information to my son in a way that he understands. The process for signing up and selecting a tutor was great!!! I'm just glad we found WyzAnt.

WyzAnt's customer support team is stellar. The staff is very responsive and eager to take care of any question or problem that may arise. I was also able to find a real jewel of a physics tutor who was competent, flexible, and patient. My daughter says that she is getting much more out of her sessions with her than she ever has from her physics teacher.
So Far, So Good!
We have only had good experiences with WyzAnt. The tutors we have talked to are very educated and it lists their expertise. We plan on using the tutoring freely, as it is more affordable than a tutoring center, which has a lot of overhead. We get to work directly with the tutor, rather than dealing with their manager. It is convenient to pay by credit card, rather than always having cash on hand. We contacted one of the tutors last minute for my daughter's Chemistry final and he truly helped her gain confidence.

Great Tutor!
I'm am very satisfied with the tutor that I found on WyzAnt, she is able to tutor my son in both Algebra II and Spanish II. She is extremely knowledgeable in both subjects, relatable to my son and pushes him to succeed. Her availability is pretty open, she has recommended great sites for additional subject education and has offered to review his assignments in advance. In just 2 weeks my son has brought home 2 "A's" and 1 "B" in subjects that he was struggling in with "D's". I highly recommend this site to anyone who has a child who needs additional one-on-one tutoring. I looked into several different sites and companies, that charge membership fees, or a fortune for tutoring packages. If I wanted to spend a fortune on tutoring services I would have enrolled my son in a "private school". This site allows average parents the affordability to give their child additional tutoring at a reasonable rate that does not break the bank.

I had heard of WyzAnt through a friend and it proved to be everything she said it was. I quickly found several choices for the specific subject I was looking for and found the reviews to be very helpful in making my selection. Ultimately, I found a great tutor for my son the first time. The payment setup is great because it just simplifies the whole process. I am not running around my house looking for cash to pay a tutor. It's all taken care of in advance and It is also nice to get the volume discounts. All in all, I have been very satisfied with my WyzaAnt experience and I would definitely recommend it to others.

My son struggles with learning blocks as a result of Autism. Finding tutors normally presents challenges for me. Recently I Google searched "math tutors for autistic kids in Philadelphia" and WyzAnt appeared. From the first trip to the site, my experience has been nothing but positive. The site is very easy to use. By selecting and typing in a few guidelines and filters, my list of matching tutors all included those who were experienced with children with Autism. I am happy with our experience and most importantly, my son is happy. I highly recommend WyzAnt and absolutely will use WyzAnt in the future for any tutoring needs for all of my children.
Excellent tutor and a very easy system
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with WyzAnt and my tutor Anna. The system is very easy to use; I had no trouble finding Anna, and now that we have scheduled sessions, I have found it very easy to set up further appointments, communicate with her, and arrange payment.
Great Tutor Search
Our experience with finding a tutor started off with the first tutor cancelling after we took the time to meet him and schedule the first lesson. He contacted me and said he had to cancel due to a "Family emergency." Fortunately, your company had sent us another name before I notified you that we didn't need any more applicants thinking we had found one. Being so late into the school year I was afraid it would be difficult to find another tutor that would fit into my son's schedule with his school/sports schedule. I contacted Cody B. and he came to the rescue. Cody has been wonderful tutoring my son and being able to fit into our schedule. We are very pleased with his method of teaching, communication and scheduling. I also like the discount on your package plans. Always a good thing to be able to save a little money. Glad we found WyzAnt. Highly recommend WyzAnt!

Useful way to find a tutor
I heard about WyzAnt from a friend and found it very user friendly. We were looking for a tutor or tutors for my daughter in three different subjects, and we were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to specify the subject areas we needed expertise in, how quickly we received responses, and the quality of the tutors we heard from. Although we have had only a couple of tutoring sessions so far, we are very satisfied with WyzAnt and would have no hesitation referring others to their website.

Tutor finds a tutor
I'm a language tutor with WyzAnt and have been frustrated with the scarcity of convenient Italian classes in my city. I travel to Italy once a year, and learning Italian has been a labor of love for me. I can't believe it took so long for me think of WyzAnt! When I did, I immediately found a great Italian tutor. I found myself trying to search for a tutor around my area. Then I found WyzAnt. The search for a tutor was really easy to do. In just seconds, I found 3 tutors that I liked for my son. It was very easy to find someone that fit the needs we were looking for. My daughter really likes her tutor and definitely is understanding Algebra II better. Plus our tutor is very nice and can really relate to my daughter. I just wished we had done this much earlier.

I have to say that WyzAnt is a great tutoring service. I hardly do reviews for a company, but I had to submit one for WyzAnt after my amazing experience. In my frantic search for a Chemistry tutor, I stumbled upon this site by doing a web search. At first, I was not sure if the site was legit, but after doing a thorough review, I was comfortable enough to create a profile and include credit card information to get started. The entire process was seamless for me - from creating my account to searching and scheduling time to meet my tutor (who is amazing!) I have to add that their customer service is wonderful too. I called in with some questions about a payment and the young lady was patient in answering my questions and made some suggestions to resolve the issue. My final thoughts? I am pleasantly surprised and happy with WyzAnt.

Good tutoring sessions
My tutoring experiences have been very helpful so far. I really like both tutors. I have had only two sessions with one tutor and one session with the other tutor so I cannot give a lengthily review at this time. I will comment more when I have had more sessions and have a better idea how the tutoring is going!
Easy and Great Tutor Search and Selection
Using WyzAnt has been very efficient. I found numerous tutors available in our area. I contacted a couple of them and received prompt responses. Setting up initial appointments to check them out was seamless and really made the task stress free. Setting up payment with the site was simple and has worked well thus far. We've been with our tutor for a month now and there have already been improvements in grades and stress/frustration levels. I'm not sure how WyzAnt could make this process much simpler for us parents. Great experience thus far!

Tutor in a Hurry
I was taking a college accounting class online, and I was lost. I needed a tutor fast. I Googled tutor and WyzAnt came up. I got on the website, and emailed a couple of tutors and got answers within a day. I am in my last week of my second online accounting class, (and preparing to receive my degree) and I could not have done it without June, my tutor. She is smart, funny, flexible, and she relates topics to life. I never knew tutoring could help so much. This was my first time using a tutor and it was painless. Thank you!

Excellent Thus Far
Thus far the experience has been excellent. Our tutor has been very good and very patient with my daughter. She speaks very highly of him. The experience in finding a tutor was very good. I logged on, explained what I was looking for, and our tutor responded right away. My daughter has three courses currently with struggles in one. We were looking for assistance in the one field and as it turned out that our tutor tutors in all three. In discussion their focus is on the difficult subject, but they will discuss upcoming exams etc in the others. I also has several other tutors contact me, and although we did not utilize them, I was very impressed with their qualifications.
Easy Search and Choice Process
I loved the ability to search the tutors' bios to see what subjects they tutor. It helped to see their pictures so you knew if your child would interact with them well. Once you narrow down your choices it was nice to be able to contact the tutor through WyzAnt to further narrow that choice. You have automated the process so that it doesn't take a lot time but you get the info back and forth to make a decision on each side. Thank you so much! I don't think we would have gotten a better fit anywhere else!

Thankful to have come across WyzAnt! Appreciate the information on each tutor, their experience, availability, and reviews post each lesson. Our daughter's chemistry tutor is absolutely fantastic. He communicates well with his instruction (both verbally and in post session reviews he sends her). He communicates well with me (the scheduler of sessions) and has been very flexible with switching days and times when needed for an upcoming exam. All in all, we could not be happier with the WyzAnt experience.

I was recommended to try WyzAnt after I shared with a friend that I was looking for an AP Chemistry tutor. I had searched in a number of other outlets with no progress. When I began my search on WyzAnt, I was delighted to see how easy it was to search for tutors that provided tutoring services for specific subjects and wished I had found WyzAnt two years prior when I was looking for a Latin tutor. It was equally easy to connect with the potential tutors and I also valued the tutor recommendations from WyzAnt. I was able to locate a tutor and my daughter has been happy with his tutoring and level of knowledge in the subject matter. The payment process has also been very easy to use. Overall my experience with WyzAnt has been positive, and I would recommend this service.
