Quick and easy
I needed a tutor for college physics and as the site recommended emailed 2 of the ones that looked like a good fit for me. One of them was available and we started the following week. The sessions and payments were all online as well as reminders which was great. The tutor was qualified, personable and knew his subject.This has been a great experience all around.

Super efficient way to find a qualified tutor
WyzAnt was such an efficient way to find a tutor. I set the parameters, read the reviews on the candidates and within an hour I was sending an e-mail to a prospective tutor. I got a winner! He's much more professional than any tutor I've had in the past. WyzAnt took the work out of finding a tutor and then tutors are motivated to perform to keep their top ratings. I love this service.
Easy As Can Be
Plugged in my zip code and up popped a bunch of potential tutors. I contacted four that I thought might be good. Two replied that they were available. Both have come to our house to tutor our son in algebra, and both were terrific and extremely qualified. Loved that no money was exchanged at time of visit.

Our tutor is awesome
Our tutor has been so helpful to my daughter who was lacking confidence in testing for her algebra class. She was so nervous and would understand the work but was getting 68 and 70s on her quizzes and test and now in just 3 tutoring session is getting 95s and 100s. We are so blessed to have her helping my daughter understand and enjoy algebra now we can see she got her confidence back and is doing wonderful in class now. I highly recommend WyzAnt for tutoring of any kind.
Great Resource
I have used two of your tutors and both have been very professional, dependable, and helpful to my son. I like being able to see a variety of tutors and read about individual qualifications. Great experience. Our son's confidence level is boosting. WyzAnt finds you who you need right now! Online service is great as if someone came to your home for one on one. For math we would suggest tutors get a "pencil grip" mouse for ease of use on white board. Our tutor is skill sharp and is so helpful.

Great tutor search
So far, my experience with WyzAnt has been very positive. We found the perfect tutor, Mr. Bob, for my daughter. The site is so easy to navigate, schedule classes, payments and communication with the tutor. Every after class, the tutor put in the hours and the summary of what was covered. If there's any changes to fee agreement, WyzAnt sends an email for approval before making any changes.

At first I was reluctant to use an unknown internet service provider. After speaking with a friendly and well informed customer service representative, I felt comfortable about proceeding and providing my credit card information. The tutor we selected, Richard D. was excellent. He communicated regularly and in great detail about the progress of our student. He was able to clearly identify strengths and weaknesses and spent time efficiently working on improving skills in the areas that needed the most attention. WyzAnt communicated regularly about the charges. I found this to be an ethical and professional company that I would highly recommend to others.
Great tutor search
I had no idea of how I could locate good tutors in my area for my daughters. Through an internet search I found this website which was a great help. In the beginning I wasn't sure they would deliver what they promised, but they surpassed my expectations. I was given a list of names and their qualifications and I emailed few and they promptly answered. I selected one and was so lucky that he was great with my kid and I have seen improvement. Billing was also a concern of mine. However, I was so pleased with the way they handled my account. The tutor feedback and the site feedback were so helpful. Here I am using them again for the second year. I wish all aspects of life were that easy.

So far we have had visits from 2 tutors, one for Math SAT and one for English SAT, and they were excellent!! Professional and prepared! A coworker recommended WyzAnt for tutoring so I thought why not try them for SAT tutoring. The process to find the right tutor was easy. You search for tutors in your subject area and then view their profiles and email them with questions. You can also have tutors matching your criteria email you and then choose. The payment process is wonderful. I gave my credit card information and even received $150 credit by purchasing $1000. From there, you never need to pay the tutors, WyzAnt does!!! Also, you receive a follow up email of the details of the lesson from the tutor.
The most helpful thing
I’ve used this app for many years to find good tutors for my kids. I’ve used it successfully to find in person and online tutoring. The selection of tutors is vast and with online tutoring I’m able to work with people who are highly qualified but might no be able to meet up for a lesson in person. I have used word of mouth but that’s only been helpful 20% of the time. These tutors have helped boost my sons confidence and grades and it’s easy to make payments online and get the material from the online lesson stored so my son can review again later. I think I’d be a lot more frustrated trying to help my son with his grades if it weren’t for Wyzant. Best part no commitment for months and prepay. You pay for what you schedule one lesson at a time. No gimmicks, no pressure.
Great tutors and user friendly website
I have found three exceptional tutors through WyzAnt: one in Spring Lake and two in NYC who have been excellent in every way. The process of finding a tutor is easy. I got immediate answers to my initial inquiries and when I made my choice, I found that they made every attempt to work with my daughter's schedule. All three are very friendly, very smart and flexible. The online payment system couldn't be easier or clearer. I've recommended this website to many friends especially since there is a wide variety of price ranges. In NY some of the tutoring companies have very high set fees that just are out of many people's league and I think that if you find the right tutor through WyzAnt, you can still have some money left over to pay for college!

My experience with WyzAnt has been great. I could not believe I found a tutor who almost lives in my town. He is wonderful with our son--he is just what we needed. He is young and my son is able to understand everything his says as the tutor does not talk 'above' our son's level. I feel we really lucked out and truly believe his tests score will be improved because of our tutor.

Great Tutors
WyzAnt is a great service. The only thing I would improve on would be that the site needs more advertising. I was looking for tutors for a long time and one day while surfing the net, WyzAnt popped up. As I scanned through it...somewhat skeptical because I never heard of the site before...I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it's working out great. Our tutor is wonderful and helping my son with math better than anyone has helped him before. The prices are great and they offer discounts on packages. Their customer service support and follow-up is great. I look forward to working with WyzAnt in the future, not only for math, but if I ever need them to help my son with any other subjects that may give him a hard time.

I would highly recommend WyzAnt! I was lucky enough to find them very quickly through a google search and within 1 day I got a response from a tutor in my area. I was very quickly able to get all the information I needed about him - regarding ability to teach in the subject I was looking for, and since I was taking an intensive 4 credits in 3 1/2 weeks' winter session class, I had NO time to waste. We were covering about 1 chapter every other day and I knew I was in over my head from the beginning. I was able to schedule an appointment to meet with my tutor within 2 days. He was flexible, knowledgeable, patient and understanding and reasonably priced. I got an A in the course thanks to my WyzAnt tutor! I couldn't have done it without him!

Yoa seems to be a good teacher
I received several proposals from potential Mandarin teachers withing 20 miles of my locations, it does show that the WyzAnt search is effective. It took me only a week or so to get settled and find an appropriate contact. So far I must say that Yao Laoshi seems to be very organized, gauging the capabilities before proposing an discussing approaches. We'll try to keep a steady schedule of 1 or 2 hours a week depending on time and availability. This also adds to her qualities that she is willing to cooperate to find the best solution.

I found a wonderful Spanish tutor for my daughter. The process was easy from search to payment. I had a couple of tutors to choose from and their response times were great. The bios provide valuable information on each tutor and are helpful in making your decision. I like the follow up email and survey after each lesson because you can address any concerns or provide positive feedback immediately. Overall it has been a good experience.

This site is great for us people in need of a tutor. You get to check prices and the subject each tutor specializes in, comparing tutors by their reviews by other students' experiences. They have background checks, which is good for knowing what type of person is coming into your home. It's just good to know. Easy Path To A Great Tutor
WyzAnt helped us quickly and easily identify a great tutor for our daughter. Perhaps we got lucky, but the tutor we identified as having the right skill set for our daughter was very responsive to our initial email and able to jump in within a week. His help quickly turned her Geometry comfort level (and performance in school) around and within 3 visits, we are good to go - likely to not need him any longer.

Easy method to find a reliable tutor
I am homeschooling my 6th grade son this year and he wanted to continue with his Spanish studies. On WyZant, it was easy to find a native speaking tutor in our area and the sessions have worked out very well for our son. I like how WyzAnt takes the money from our credit card for each session so we do not have to think about the payment part. It was also helpful that our tutor had recently had a background check and that the process to check on tutors is quite easy through WyZant.

Pointed in the right direction by customer support
WyzAnt pointed me in the right direction when looking for a tutor for my son that has high functioning autism. He needed a specific learning style so he could properly understand different concepts of learning. He has trouble staying on task, giving up due to not understanding material, as well as having trouble with his organizational skills. The past school year has been very difficult for him due to fighting for his IEP (teachers not understanding his learning style due to his AS) and him giving up on school in general because he was failing everything and being retained. With that said, we were at our wits end when I first found wyzant.com; he was so negative about school that he would not even talk about his future education like he used to. He is now a happy, more confident 14 year old boy pushing himself to succeed. The tutor that we were referred to had an extensive background as well as experience with his AS. Through her experience, she has been able to turn him into a more positive student that looks forward to her coming rather than being discouraged with learning. We came up with a plan that would work for his specific needs and reward systems for accomplishing goals. I would definitely refer WyzAnt.com to anyone who is looking into tutoring. I am looking for a tutor for my daughter for the longest time. This is the best, flexible and most convenient service I have found during my search over the past several months. The qualifications of the tutors are listed on line. You can choose the tutor who fits your needs. You are able to contact the tutor via email, to ask them questions, before committing to anything. I thought that was the best service ever. Payment plans are very flexible, we love it. Our tutor is excellent. Our daughter has connected with him and he has really helped her in Pre-calc.
