Helped me find a great tutor!
I was easily able to search through many tutors in my area that could tutor both pre-calc and geometry. Found one that felt like a good match, and he is! Great service. So glad I didn't have to go through a tutoring company. The rates are much more reasonable, and I like being able to work directly with my tutor. Also like that it is so easy to pay online, so I don't have to worry about paying him every time.

Great Tutor
Selection of tutors in local area is very good. We found an excellent Maths tutor who could work to our schedule and was clearly motivated to provide the best service at a reasonable price. Very satisfied.
Easy online access to great tutors
I am impressed by the online site and how easy it is to find a tutor there. I have especially enjoyed the review by the tutor posted online after each lesson. The tutor I have chosen is excellent and her flexibility in changing lesson days and/ or times when needed is appreciated.
Very helpful during a stressful time
My son transfered schools during the 8th grade. He has always been a great student, BUT Algebra I at his new school was way ahead of his old school. He was very frustrated and depressed about getting F's, then I looked up WyzAnt. I found Freddie B. and for 1 hour a week he was able to help my son understand Algebra I. It has been so easy to find the right tutor and pay for the sessions. I will reccomend it to anyone who needs a tutor. Thanks!
Great Tutor Search and Selection
Our tutor is a great tutor for power point and facebook. I am grateful for his technical help but I am amazed that WyzAnt was able to send me a tutor with a M.Div. who completely understands my work as a church pastor -- he's even an ELCA Lutheran. A match made in heaven. Thank you.
Excellent service and Professionalism
I have used Wyzant's tutoring service twice now and I have to say I have experienced nothing but the best. My tutor's have given me great assistance towards my academic needs and have helped me to achieve and understand the topics I have had trouble with. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone that needs professional tutors that respect their craft.
Specialized Tutoring Assistance
I'm very pleased with my experience with WyzAnt so far. I was seeking a tutor for very specific purposes and several contacted me within a few days. I met with one on a trial basis and she was very good, but not precisely what I was looking for. The second tutor I contacted turned out to be exactly what I had been hoping to find. She seems very knowledgeable, experienced, and enthusiastic. Her schedule has been flexible and we've been able to meet multiple time per week. Her fee is reasonable thus allowing those multiple meetings. The arrangement for payment through WyzAnt is easy and convenient. Overall, I'd have to say that I'm a satisfied customer.
Fantastic Tutor
Our tutor, Josh, has been wonderful. He has been coming twice a week to tutor our international exchange student. He has done everything from showing him the proper way to use his agenda book, to good study habits and tricks for remembering things. This has been a very good experience. I had such a hard time locating a tutor. You should definitely advertise with the private, and public, high schools in the area.
Easy way to find tutors
A friend told me about WyzAnt and I have found it very helpful. The website is clear and easy to use. It allowed me to include my daughter in the search process for tutors and it has been very easy to make arrangements and pay via your website. I am already looking for a second tutor and will recommend WyzAnt to my friends
Great tutors
I am in grad school and have two kids in college and it is helpful to be able to use one account for the different areas.
Quick Response and Easy to Use
I had been looking for classes to take on the History MTEL for months. There is literally nothing. Then one day I heard about WyZant and within 20 minutes I found a tutor who was close by and could help me. I did not expect such a fast response and we've been doing a couple lessons a week since then. Also, the payment method is easy to use. I calculated how many lessons I would need and ordered one of the credit packages to get a discount! This has been an easy website to use and I would definitely use it in the future. Hopefully this is what will allow me to pass my MTELs in a couple of weeks.
Easy Way To Find A Local Tutor
I found just what I was looking for. I appreciate that the billing is done in increments, and not by the hour or half hour. I also like that we can see her in person, or call her on the phone for help as needed.

It took two weeks to locate a tutor who could work the schedule I needed and do it in my home....but I found a good tutor. He knows chemistry and works well with my son. Buying the lessons online was relatively painless. I'm happy. Thank you very much!!
Awesome website!
So glad I took a look at this website! Very easy site to use, payment for lessons, communication between you and the tutor, customer support etc... Also, you can find what works for you and your child. I found a wonderful tutor right from the start and we are super excited that it's working out. Kevin has been a blessing to us with his great attitude, awesome commutication, his great expertise and reliable. My daughter is enjoying it now because she is understanding it :)) My overall experience with this website has been fantastic! I would highly recommend WYZANT!!! \
Wish They Passed Out Business Cards at Orientation!
I've used WyzAnt to find tutors (chemistry and algebra) for two of my children and couldn't be more pleased with the process. My only question is "Why didn't I do this sooner?" Perhaps, it was because I didn't know about the site. WyzAnt could only be better if they provided contact information at local high school's student orientation!

The experience of setting up an account and finding an appropriate tutor for our son has been very straight forward. Once chosen, the tutor selected has been very professional and well versed in his subject. We are very pleased with the entire process.
Great tutor search and selection
We've found a great tutor for our daughter. Once we mastered the details of the site everything has gone smoothly. The only thing on the logistical side is that we registered one email with the account. That email is forwarded to another email account. When we answered the tutor from the second site, we could only do it inside of wyzant. That was awkward. We didn't realize that we should have used the 2nd email to avoid confusion and delay at our end when we registered for the account. Perhaps that was clear, but we missed it. Everything else is great.

I live in California but wanted to find a tutor for my niece in Las Vegas! WyzAnt was extremely helpful for me to find an excellent, efficient and caring tutor for my niece. I felt like I was holding my breath but by WyzAnt allowing me to find a tutor based upon my specific needs it was great and I am able to relax knowing my niece is being taught by someone that cares! The tutor I found is a perfect match and I couldn't be more pleased and at ease. She's so open and honest and in 3 sessions my niece's confidence has skyrocketed! Found a Terrific Tutor
We found a terrific, local tutor who was able to guide us through some difficult geometry. Once we found the site, it was easy to do a search based on the criteria we were looking for. Would recommend WyzAnt because our experience with them was very good.

Great selection and system
This site gave me access to a multitude of tutors that meet my needs and criteria. Very pleased. The search was painless and did not give me "filler" tutors that did not meet the needs I searched for. Would abslutely use them again.
