Great Tutor Search and Selection
It has been easy to find tutors using Wyzant's service. The prepaid package is convenient. My son has enjoyed the tutoring sessions.
Straightforward and productive
If you read the reviews of Wyzant, and their website, you learn how they operate. We contacted the tutor before we opened an account and established to our satisfaction that she could do the job we needed. We placed money in the account and it was drawn down after each tutoring session. We had some cash in the account at the end and it was refunded to us immediately. No problems whatsoever. I would use Wyzant's services again.
Very Helpful
WyzAnt was very easy to use. I put in search criteria for a tutor and was able to select from several tutors in the area. The online payment made things easy!

Great Tutor Search and Selection
I was trying to find a tutor to prepare my daughter for SAT testing and specifically for math studies. She is a senior and wants to enter a four year university. Through WyzAnt, I was able to research several different tutors who have the experience and knowledge in the specific field we were looking for. The tutor we found, Niven, turned out to be perfect! She relates well with my daughter, she's patient, very flexible with scheduling, and she has the exact background and experience we were looking for. WyzAnt is easy to work with regarding payment, through PayPal. I highly recommend WyzAnt for all tutoring needs.

My daughter has been working with "Ms. Katie" for a few weeks and thus far the results have been very positive. Katie has listened to my educational concerns regarding my daughter, she has researched the public school requirements and is tutoring based on the SOL standards (as we discussed). Katie is thorough in execution of the curriculum outlined for my daughter, and is staying on course while tutoring. Additionally with her background in special education, Katie is a great match for my daughter's needs. Her tutoring is helping my daughter with her math skillset, preparing her for high school and also building her self esteem; all things I believe is giving her self confidence and making her want to achieve higher learning. My daughter looks forward to her weekly tutoring sessions. Katie is an excellent tutor who is well prepared, and truly cares about teaching.

Very helpful
I found WyzAnt by searching for tutors over the Internet. I am very pleased I found them. Very, very efficient way to find tutors. Customer support representatives are very professional and cordial. The system as a whole is brilliant, with an easy payment process, way to give feedback after each tutoring session, etc. The tutor I ended up hiring was excellent. I got about a dozen responses within the firs half an hour of placing my inquiry for a Chem tutor and just decided to try one of them and it worked out perfectly well. I would definitely use WyzAnt again.
Money well spent
Excellent service overall; high quality people doing high quality work. I was especially pleased with the ability to source tutors by zip code. Nothing more frustrating than finding exactly what you need only to discover that it's 3000 miles away in California.

Great Tutor Search and Selection
My experience with WyzAnt has been awesome. I knew that my granddaughter needed a strong tutor in Science. I started searching the Web to find a Science Taks Tutor. I had never heard of WyzAnt before. When I searched for what I needed, WyzAnt came up. I read the background of Ame and knew she was who my granddaughter needed to help her pass her test. Once she and I met Ame, I knew on our first lesson that we had found the best. I knew that my granddaughter could pass the test but she needed someone who would make her believe it and to also believe in her self and this is exactly what Ame has done. I am pleased with the payment process and extremely pleased with our tutor.
Great way to locate the right tutor.
So far so good, I located my daughter's tutor by choosing from many responses to my search. I felt she was the best candidate based on her own unique experience with teaching kids/teens. My 13 year old loves her teaching styles, and tells me she GETS IT. I'm grateful to have found Marianne. The set up payments are easy, and the package discounts are great. I would reccommend this program to all parents who's kids are struggling or want to advance (in my daughter's case) in a subject.
Very easy and transparent process
The process couldn't be easier. The web site explained the process thoroughly and there were no surprises. I connected with my tutor right away. I was gratified to receive emails from WyzAnt at various points before my tutoring started to see how my process was going. Also, the running account is a great help for me to keep my budget in order. My tutor is very good and flexible with scheduling. Great Tutor: Great Experience
I'm amazed at how easy WyzAnt made it for me find the right tutor and to arrange payment for his services. Within an hour of requesting help, I had 4 different tutors respond to me via my email. I was able to choose the one I felt was best suited to my learning needs and within an hour I had an appointment to meet with my tutor. By arranging payment online, my tutor was able to focus on me and my learning needs and not hassle with money issues. Mark was excellent. I highly recommend him. He was totally knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and gentle in teaching me the intricacies of statistics and the technology used in statistical equations. I will use WyzAnt again and I highly recommend WyzAnt's services.

Great Resource for Finding Tutors
Finding a tutor through WyzAnt was easy. There are many to pick from with a variety of fees. My daughter's tutor, Laurie, is very knowledgable and helpful to my daughter. She is much more confident about retaking the ACT. Laurie was also very willing to meet wherever and whenever worked out best for us. I am very happy with WyzAnt.
EXCELLENT MATHS TUTOR

I was looking for a tutor in my area and came across this website. i was surprised with how many tutors there were in my small area. I created a posting and was contacted immediately but multiple tutors. I was then able to pick the best one for me and started lessons the following day. Best idea I have come across
I was really worried about finding a tutor for my college age daughter, due to her work and class schedule she only has a small window of time for tutoring. I contacted 3 tutors using Wyzant and got immediate feedback from 2 of the 3. After learning that one of the 3 could fit her in it has been smooth sailing since then. The communication is great, the payment easy and feedback is awesome. I would have no problem recommending this program to anyone.
Great tutor
I Found this site by a google search of Math tutor in Plano Texas, I was thrilled to find this site. John Mow is wonderful and the perfect fit for my child. Was a little concern on giving my billing info before talking to tutor. I did not understand why or if you would bill my account first. Other than that all has been great and I have told several friends about this site. I work in a small private school and we are always in need of tutors. I loved seeing the profile and picture of tutors It really helps with the selection.

What a great tool - very user friendly
Wyzant has been such a great tool to help me find a math tutor for my daughter. It did take a couple of tries, and a couple of the tutors never responded, however when we got hooked up with the tutor we have, she's AWESOME! Great Tutor Selection
Our tutor is the most wonderful tutor ever! She has helped my daughter so much, and my child actually enjoys going to her lesson. Payment is so easy. With paypal, she can go to her lesson and it's paid for automatically. Wyzant is great!
Great Website to find a Tutor!
I found a wonderful tutor for my two teenage daughter's using WyzAnt. She is knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. It was very simple to use the WyzAnt search and they have a large selection of tutors. I liked that fact that I could search based on the subject's my children needed help in and the amount of money I could afford to pay. Overall it has been a great experience using WyzAnt. I only wish I had found them sooner!
Wonderful Tutor
Jennifer is pleasant, informative and has a great deal of patience. She allows him to present her with a problem that he cannot overcome, they work on it, then she reinforces it with basic math rules. He has come a long way.
