Excellent tutor and easily navigable website
Wyzant was simply the vessel I went through to be able to have contact with the best tutor I have ever had. I love that the website showed the pictures and had the option of background checks. I also love that I could narrow down the search to my specific need. I was able to easily choose a tutor that was experienced in my specific area of need, mathematics and the GED. At my age, asking neighbors for a a reference to a tutor is embarrassing. I really wanted to keep this confidential. With Wyzant, I was able to find a quality tutor privately, so that the whole world doesn't know that I have trouble with math in my 30s. So, thank you so much. Wyzant is essential to anyone who wishes to find the best tutors fitted for their exact educational need.
Great Resource for Parents
It can be hard to find a tutor who can work with your child one-on-one, in a specific school subject, and for a reasonable price. I have found WyzAnt to be an amazing tutoring resource for these three requirements and more. By simply typing in our zip code and needed school subject, we were given a list of qualified tutors in our immediate area. I heard from the two I reached out to within 24-48 hrs, which was great since we needed assistance sooner rather than later. It was helpful being able to review credentials and cost, right then and there. We were also able to get a rather inexpensive background check on the tutor, which assured us even more. Being able to make online payments adds to the ease of the exchange, and knowing we can tap into WyzAnt's customer service if needed is also reassuring.

Great Tutor Search
This is my first experience with WyzAnt. I really didn't know what to expect but I have been very pleased with the whole experience. Finding them on the internet, choosing a tutor and setting up the appointments was so easy. All was done thru emails. The tutor I chose for my granddaughter is working out great. They meet at the local library for an hour two times a week. My granddaughter really likes her tutor and the tutor has picked up quickly on my granddaughter's weak spots and is doing a great job with helping her. I highly recommend finding a local tutor thru WyzAnt. Very simple and easy for people with busy schedules.

It was easy to find a tutor online. Fortunately I found an excellent teacher. I enjoy our lessons and she makes it fun and easy to learn. It has been a good experience working with her.
