Found a gem!
This site helped me link up with a wonderful tutor who is really helping us out! Could not be more perfect. Tried another site and the tutor cancelled appointment an hour before saying too busy and then cancelled the next one due to St. Patrick's Day... too unreliable. This tutor has been timely and reliable.
Seems to work well
The WyzAnt system seems to work well. The tutor seems well qualified and according to my daughter explains the math well.
Wyzant is easy to navigate and super organized!
Met with the first tutor...but he wasn't familiar with the material enough to be of help...was not charged for his session...fantastic!! Then met with an online tutor through Wyzant! He has been a great help! His very impressive background is a perfect match for helping me with my studies! Wyzant is awesome!! Once you are set up for payment...everything from finding a tutor, speaking with them, making appointments, to making payment is super organized! Thank you kindly!!????
Great Tutors!
My son who is in community college was struggling with Calculus and one of our relatives mentioned that they had used WyzAnt and had lined up a great tutor. We took a look and sent emails to about 8 tutors in our area. Most of them replied right away and after a few email exchanges, we found two really good ones that my son has been using for the past 2 weeks. He just took a big test and is confident he did well since, thanks to the tutors, he really understands the material. He says they are both very knowledgeable and helpful.

I am very pleased with the WyzAnt website. It is easy to use to search for tutors and to set up easy payments. I've been very pleased with the tutor I've found.
Best site ever
So easy to use and has amazing tutors. I wish I found this site long ago. We've hired 3 tutors so far and each one has been top notch in my book. Sometimes we need a tutor for an extended period of time and sometimes it's just for 1 session to get over a small academic hump, but either way, they are always here for us. It's great to have somewhere to turn when we need help. My sons grades and confidence have improved and my stress level has gone down. This is an absolutely necessary part of life for sure.
Follow up and feedback emails
Thank you very much for sending us a summary of each tutor lesson. As a parent, I really appreciate a short summary so I can also follow up with my son on his progress and home assignment. The web is also easy to navigate.

I had a lot of success using WyzAnt. My tutor was super helpful in helping me to better understand nursing topics and breaking down concepts so I could better understand them. Overall, a very good experience.
