Fantastic Tutor Search
WyzAnt made it very easy to find a tutor for my 4th grader. Weekly payments are made effortless with PayPal. Although we didn't need to take advantage of their policy regarding non-payment for the first session if the tutor wasn't a good fit; it was the reason we decided to move forward with WyzAnt.

Easy-peasy
I googled "Italian lessons" and found WyzAnt. The tutor I chose was affordable and appeared to be the right one for me. We have already had 3 sessions, and she IS the right tutor for me. WyzAnt made it easy to set things up and to make payments. I get emailed receipts, a chance to give Giulia the great reviews she deserves, and posted reminders for each session. So far, so good.
Great Tutor Site
We were looking for a tutor to help our daughter with AP Physics. Doing a Google search WyzAnt came up and showed you tutors in your local area. It also gives you a background check on tutors they use which was a surprise to us. We chose a tutor and have had several sessions already. She has really helped my daughter understand concepts that her teacher is failing to teach well. I would highly recommend this site and will use it as long as she needs help with school.
Great Tutot Seach and Selection
So far my experience has been good. Easy to surf through the opportunities and tutors, easy setup of account, have not had to contact customer support, tutor has met all our expectations and seems to be a good match for what our son's tutor needs are. Only been apart of the program for one week, so I have minimal input.

Quality Tutors & Ease of Getting Started
Before selecting a tutor to help me with QuickBooks, I carefully read the bio's of several in my area and narrowed it down to two, either of whom I was confident could help me. Because the background and experience of one of them related closely to what I needed to accomplish in my business, I was able to make a selection. At the WyzAnt website, within five minutes, I was able to register and submit my request for this specific tutor. Within a few hours, the tutor contacted me and our first session was scheduled! Payments are charged by Wyzant to my credit card after each tutoring session, and a receipt promptly arrives in my e-mail. After each session, I am able to submit comments to WyzAnt about the session, if I choose to do so. This is the first time I've ever had a need for a tutor, and it has been a 5-star experience. Should I need tutoring for something else in the future, I'll find WyzAnt easily from my 'Favorites.' I will definitely recommend WyzAnt to others!
Great Resource and Website for Tutoring!
A friend recommended I try WyzAnt as a Tutoring source for my son, who needed help in Spanish. From the first that I logged on to WyzAnt's site it has been a very helpful and pleasant experience. It was so easy to navigate the website. I just plugged in 'Spanish', and the city I live in, and up popped four pages of Tutor's right in my county - some very close to my home. I had no trouble emailing and getting responses from the various Tutors, and it was very quickly that we came upon a Tutor who was perfect for our son, and our location. Our Tutor has been coming to our house which is very convenient, and he has been awesome to work with. He posts reviews of his sessions with my son each time he comes, and this helps so I know what they did and what my son needs to work on. It has been super easy to handle the payments as well. I registered our credit card online and it gets charged within a day or two after the Tutor has been here. I get email statements when it is charged as well, so I can keep a record. I am very happy with the whole experience we have had, and I would highly recommend WyzAnt to anyone.

Everything was very easy from finding the service on the internet to meeting with the tutor. It was easy to communicate and pay. Our tutor knew his geometry very well and taught so she could understand.

Customer service had excellent rapport. After talking to him I got 9 replies from tutors and found one that was fitting for my 12-year-old son. First-time user and found the best tutor match
This was my first time using WyzAnt and I needed to find a tutor for my son. Previously I had checked out other tutoring services where the customer was asked to pay a relatively large payment up-front without even having the benefit of seeing if it was for them. One reason that I chose WyzAnt is that it is very affordable along with the ability to pay as you go. I signed up on the site and sent out a request for tutors. I began to get concerned when only one tutor responded to my request, but as it turns out, the one who responded is an excellent match for our needs. Very perceptive and detailed in approach, I feel my son growing in confidence and competence in math.

I was looking for several weeks for a professional and experienced tutor of Portuguese nearby my home without success until I came across to WyzAnt. I found a great tutor through their website and also WyzAnt is the best facilitator between my teacher and I. Found a great tutor...
The process of finding a tutor through the website was fairly easy and the feedback from other customers was a key factor in selecting my daughter's tutor. The system for making payments and notifying me of payments has been very helpful. Adam has been very communicative regarding scheduling and assignments. My daughter is happy working with Adam and feels she is learning a lot.
Terrific Learning Experience
My Spanish tutor Judy always has an encouraging word. She introduces new lesson material at just the right pace and sets up conversational review to re-enforce what we have been studying. Really, Wizant is a fabulous system. This was our first time needing a tutor and didn't know where to start t! We asked among friends and at school and they didn't have anyone to recommend.IWe found hundreds of tutors online but that felt very unsafe. With Wizant we got a great qualified tutor, reviewed with 5 stars by the previous students,already background checked. Plus, I pay the lessons through Paypal .. there is no easier way! I found this service to be very helpful in searching for a tutor for my elementary student. Many well qualified teachers that reached out to me. However, I was able to locate the teacher who taught my child phonics years ago and she is now retired and was able to assist us. Again thank you for the great responses.

Great resource for finding an tutor
Ok, so I've found tutors on my own before, usually by word-of-mouth. This time I needed a tutor for my bright high schooler who identified gaps in her learning, specifically in Algebra. She asked for 1:1 tutoring, wrote up a proposal, discussed it with both her teachers and parents. I set out on a search for an experienced, screened, advanced local mathematics teacher who came with recommendations. Ta-Da! WyzAnt provided me with information I needed to make the best selection for my daughter. After just 3 lessons my daughter's "gaps" in Algebra have been filled and she is back on track.. Great Tutors
Our kids do pretty well in school, but at some point they can get stuck, and frankly the public school teachers don't have the time. Compared with the cost of private schools, using tutors is a great deal! I have found high caliber, fun tutors in WyzAnt and they are my first place to go to.

I am so happy I stumbled upon WyzAnt for my son's tutoring needs for Math! I initially went through Care.com, but they charged an upfront fee for their service and only 2 out of the 6 tutors I contacted even bothered to respond! Both said they were unavailable, so the end result was me paying a fee for zero results! WyzAnt does not have an upfront fee, was easy to use and the tutor has been great. I'm glad I made the switch! I just wanted to comment that WyzAnt is a great company. It was easy to use and very informative. I found all types of tutors in all different locations. In person and via Skype. I landed a tutor that is very professional and I feel very comfortable with. I feel like meeting face to face is very personal and that I have gained a great relationship with my tutor and I feel comfortable with her for my success with the NCLEX. Great tutor search and selection
It was great to be able to utilize the WyzAnt database to search for a qualified tutor. My son has had two sessions so far... and so far it seems to be going very well and our tutor is flexible and helpful! I will contribute more about the experience after a few more sessions, but so far it has worked very well - some on-line sessions and some in person - nice to be able to do both!
Easy way to search for qualified tutors
I began using WyzAnt as I searched for a tutor for my 10 y.o. son. He is reading below grade level and I wanted to hire a tutor to help improve his overall reading skills over the summer. What I liked about WyzAnt: - Being able to easily identify tutors who were reading specialists. - Reviews from past clients are always a definite plus and the best references. - Noting whether or not the tutor has had a background check is a great security feature. I was lucky enough to find an experienced reading tutor (with a 5 star rating from all 17 reviewers) right in our area who'd already had a recent background check. Patience was required as my son has ADHD and mild autism. That was one of the "skills" listed on Pam's profile and she definitely scores an A+ for her approach and patience. My son looks forward to his lessons with Ms. Pam. My son and I both feel very fortunate that we were able to make a connection with such a fantastic tutor.

After using several tutoring companies, I can honestly say that Wyzant is an exceptional tutoring service. My son is in college and needed help in several subjects for biochemistry. Customer support was always polite and quick to find the best tutor. They would always go the extra step to find the best tutor for your needs. I have found their tutors to be very knowledgeable and willing to help even in short notice. I would highly recommend Wyzant.

Great Resource for Excellent Tutors
I truly love WyzAnt. I was experiencing anxiety trying to find a tutor to help my son with math. I was referred by a friend who had nothing but great things to say. Needless to say, I feel the same way. From the stress free payment process to the weekly updates from his tutor on what is being covered at each session. My son looks forward to his weekly session and is loving math more each day. Definitely 5 star service!!!!

Wow! Could not have asked for better!
It was the end of the semester and my daughter was struggling to finish up in the stats class at OSU. My husband tried to help but wasn't able. The assignments Needed to be completed over the holiday weekend. We were at a loss as to what we should do. So I googled mason Ohio tutors and there it was! We connected to Michelle within a few minutes and had sessions all weekend long, thanks to Michelle! She was totally available to us and or daughter learned more about stats over Memorial weekend than she had the entire semester. She and Michelle are planning to do online tutoring as needed this next school year, thanks to the online option available. Payment is a breeze through the company so it's a non-issue for the student and tutor during sessions. We couldn't ask for a better tutor or overall experience. We are so grateful for Michelle and the connection that we now have. She is devoted to her students and does whatever is needed to bring forth an awesome learning experience.
