Fantastic Service Thus Far

Great tutor search and selelction
Compared to other sites I've seen, WyzAnt is so easy to use. And everything is up front: people, experience, price. It's so nice not to have to wade through a bunch of talk to get to what you are looking for. And the tutor selection is good. Somewhat thin for my area but only because I was being really specific in what I wanted for my daughter. Our tutor Lara has been great and really helped! My daughter's last math test was an A+!

Our WyzAnt tutoring experience got results!
My son's SAT writing score was much lower than his verbal or math score. He wanted to apply to some competitive colleges and it was important to bring the writing score up. His schedule was full of after-school activities, but our tutor Maureen was able to work with his schedule. After three sessions with her he took the SAT again and his writing score went up 80 points! We're grateful for the flexibility to attack one specific goal in a short period of time. It worked!
Found a compatible tutor
Surprisingly enough I actually found a compatible tutor for the subject (Physical Chemistry/Quantum Mechanics) which I did not expect when I started my search. Thank you!
Good Start

Great Experience
In searching for a tutor to teach me how to use Adobe Photoshop, I found WyzAnt. They provided me with names and background information on not just one but several individuals. This was very helpful in making a decision as to who I thought would provide me with the assistance I required. Tutors adapt easily to busy schedules
I liked the experience with WyzAnt from the beginning: clear, easy-to-navigate website made it fun searching for a French tutor in our area. The refundable first hour deal gives you the option to find the best match for your needs. We found the best tutor, Antoine, from the start. With me working full time and both my girls participating in after school activities, finding time to squeeze the French classes in was a main concern. With WyzAnt this is not an issue. Antoine easily adapted to our schedule and now my girls have French classes twice a week, in the comfort of our home. Perfect!
WyzAnt Makes It Easy
I was a bit daunted by the task of finding a music teacher for my daughter because she plays an instrument that is not the typical piano or violin. WyzAnt made that search really easy. Although there was only one or maybe two teachers available, the tutor we found turned out to be a good fit. WyzAnt also made it easy for me to submit payment - it's all done online, which I appreciate. I also appreciate that WyzAnt allows me to communicate directly with the teacher through email. The teacher is great; my daughter really likes him and with only three lessons, she has learned a lot and her technique has improved greatly.
Wonderful source for tutors
I was looking for an SAT tutor for my son when I came across WyzAnt. I liked the idea of local tutors, background checks, reasonable rates, guarantees of compatibility and helpful reviews. I just did an internet search for tutors and stumbled onto WyzAnt. I was able to quickly see what tutors were available in my town and for which subjects along with their hourly rates. I found a tutor who was a good fit for my son and his needs and location. She did a great job and we will use WyzAnt and this tutor again I am sure. WyzAnt is a dream come true for students in need of a great tutor - in any subject! I was told about WyzAnt by a fellow classmate and searched on their website in order to locate a Statistics tutor. Boy, was I ever lost and confused in that subject! Searching for the perfect tutor was so simple that I am thrilled with the utilization of WyzAnt and will definitely be "knocking on their door" in the near future. So Far, So Good
I used your service to locate and hire a tutor for my son where we vacation each summer. My favorite part of WyzAnt is the ability to pre-purchase a package, and have the session amount simply deducted from my credit. (I do hope that our tutor is compensated in a timely manner.) I, and my son, have been so impressed with our tutor! He understands our objectives and works with my son toward those goals. He makes the sessions interesting, fun, and the time flies by. He makes my son want to learn more. (We have at least 6 more weeks to go of this "Summer Enrichment Experience".) Our tutor is very organized and a great communicator, not only of what was learned in a session, but what the homework is and what comes next.
Painless and Productive
I wanted to secure a tutor for SAT prep for my daughter. I evaluated classroom prep and determined it was a better bet to have private, customized tutoring. It was easy to find the right match and my daughter has been extremely happy with how customized the tutoring is and how knowledgeable and helpful her tutor has been on really honing in on key areas as well as providing great guidance about test-taking.

Great experience with finding a tutor and making payments
This is the first tutor I have used and I have found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We meet weekly and I am learning Chinese which is difficult for me. But my tutor makes it easier and the time just flies. The ease of payments online with a deduction from my account is easy too. Positive Results
When the need to locate a suitable language instructor became an issue, I began to search the web. Outstanding
My personal experience with WyzAnt has been outstanding. I needed help in upgrading my computer literacy. My instructor Mike is a "Tech God" in my opinion. With relative ease he made all my electronic gadgets resolve their differences and recognize one another. Now there is peace in the valley. He connected things that needed to be connected. He disconnected things that needed to be disconnected. I've gained much knowledge about computers. My work now is done much faster and much quicker. The Best Tutoring Service Around!
I must admit that I am very impressed with this tutoring service. WyzAnt is a great service as it allows you to pick the tutor that best suits your needs. I had a selection of tutors to choose from for chemistry and I found the right tutor to help me with the subject. I picked a location that was near as I don't travel a great distance. The tutor has been most awesome in trying to better help understand the principles of chemistry. I just wish that I was aware of WyzAnt earlier on last year, otherwise I would not have had to retake Chemistry 110 again. I would also like to say that the payment option is most reasonable. I don't have to put hundreds of dollars down for a tutoring service.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
I looked a number of places to find a Math tutor for my child. I just Stumbled upon WyzAnt. It was so easy to review the tutors. Look at their credentials and reviews to decide who to choose. Process was not overwhelming, meeting with the tutor or payment process. Everything is made so easy. So far it's been a great experience, my child is getting a lot of help and loving Math. I wish I had known about this earlier.
Superb Spanish Tutor
Once you set up your credit card information and what you are looking for the tutors offering their assistance start pouring in. I would suggest to simply create your specific needs for tutors and set your payment information and wait for them to reach out to you. Every tutor I emailed because of their area of expertise and location did NOT reply and probably do not utilize the system as much. However at least six (6) individuals offered assistance. I emailed a few back and forth and decided to meet with one at the local library and the rest was history. She started tutoring our son in Spanish within three days. She has helped him immensely and she is so kind and cares that he understands the subject. Well worth the money spent and now I know I no longer have to panic about certain subjects - I can just go to WyzAnt and find someone who can help.

Using WyzAnt to locate a tutor was a perfect solution to our student's desire for a bit of assistance for preparing for an upcoming college entrance exam, specifically math prep for the ACT. The search process could not be simpler, the returned results provided a wide array of tutors from which to choose, the connection and scheduling processes were very straight forward, and the quality of the tutor we ultimately settled upon was most satisfactory and presented a good value for the rate charged, with the billing process a breeze. My experience has been great. I am learning more about the topic and subject matter with the tutor. I accidentally found WyzAnt over the internet. I was not familiar with the program and had never heard of WzyAnt. It was difficult at first to find a tutor in the subject area I needed at a reasonable price. Because I had been searching on my own, prior to turning to WyzAnt, I knew the prices and how difficult it was. As an informed customer, I can say that once I found a match, within a few days of my posting, it has gone very well. We are pleased with the tutor, and I like the pay as you go process which lets me review the charge and then is automatically pulled from my account. I did phone your customer service dept. once and the gentleman was very helpful and answered all my questions.

Great place to find reviews of local Math Tutors
I was given a list of tutors by my son's counselor at high school. Unfortunately this list did not provide ratings, experience, locations, background checks or anything very helpful really. I felt it would be a difficult task to select the right tutor so I turned to the internet and WyzAnt was found! I'm so glad this service exists to help students link up with a tutor. There were many Math tutors available near to our location with reviews and background checks, etc. We found a great tutor who responded to our request the same day. Love that the payment is settled automatically after the lesson. Tutor charges by the minute so there are never and wasted minutes, and the lesson can be shorter or longer depending on requirements.
Awesome Tutor
Each of my tutoring sessions with Pam have helped me to build a stronger understanding of the subject matter. Going into this course, I was so concerned about how I would ever make it through taking an online course in Statistics. Pam has helped me each step along the way. She has a true talent for understanding her student's learning style and ability and designs each session to fit her student's needs. WyzAnt has been critical to enabling access to tutors in the area who will meet the student rather than the student going to a large company. WyzAnt also helped move the process along by asking if they could filter and provide additional names. This is important to talk with a few tutor options, which I did, and we landed with an outstanding match for our needs. Payment process is fine as far as I know - will see my credit card at some point. I was going to use PayPal but the process confused me so just went to credit card. Thank you!!
Easy and convenient
I am very impressed with the company. They answer all my questions and help me narrow down the tutor that I need for my daughter. I use Clement and he is an excellent, very good tutor. He is always on time and returns email right away. I just wish he had more availability in the afternoon.

We sent a request to a particular tutor, but WyzAnt also sent our information to other tutors in our area who matched our needs. Helpful tutoring Program
Finding a tutor on WyzAnt.com was a lot easier than trying to find a tutor else where. I had made calls to colleges and other tutoring programs looking for help with no response. When I went on WyzAnt I got an immediate response from a tutor and have had great results since. My son's grades have improved which is a blessing. I am grateful for the service and plan to continue the tutoring over the summer preparing him for the next set of classes.
Great Tutor!
It's no longer an option to ask around for tutors - everybody seems to use friends and extended friends. That's fine through elementary school, but when your kids are taking honors and AP classes, you need a tutor who knows the material and can teach the material. WYZANT was our only option. The only thing that would make this better is if public libraries were open past 5:30PM.

Great Tutor in Italian
I found it very easy to get a tutor through WyzAnt. I have had two levels of Italian and was looking for a one-on-one tutor to just speak Italian with me. I'm going to Italy this summer and want a little more than just knowing where a restaurant or the bathroom is. I want to talk with the locals. I had three sessions with Elda J. and got what I was looking for. She spoke to me almost all in Italian, even when I struggled hearing what she said. She is a delightful person, and quite accomplished as a neurologist. I would recommend her to someone else. I might try another tutor, just to hear another voice.

Just wanted to say how happy I am with the WyzAnt experience and especially our tutor, Allen B. I have found the experience to be a very positive one. The website was very easy to use and very helpful in choosing a tutor, given the information that is listed about each person along with the rate they charge. My son is a Junior in high school receiving help for pre-calculus. Allen has been a very positive and helpful tutor so far. We have previously used services of "learning centers" which cost a ton of money and didn't give you the one on one that a tutor gives.
