I'm a Korean visiting scholar at UC San Diego. I was looking for tutor for my two children, 5th and 7th grades. My children was needed 1 to 1 tutoring for English second language course. I found a great tutor on WyzAnt. Our tutor is really passionate tutor. My wife and my two children are really like her class. It's a wonderful experience for our family.

I am not a computer person so this has been an experience and a pleasant one! As I needed to find a tutor for my daughter at an expense I could afford, this website has helped me with both. Great Tutor Find
Thanks to WyzAnt, my 13 year old daughter has an excellent French tutor. She's not only a great teacher, but has also been a great encouragement to my daughter. My daughter's grades started improving within the first three sessions. We hope to continue working with her through WyzAnt for a long time. Although I was hesitant to use an online tutor search company, this one has proven to be legitimate.
Helpful Customer Support
I interacted with the WyzAnt customer support department twice so far. The first time I called to set up my account. The lady on call was very clear and helpful. Her courtesy made me feel well taken care of as a new client and as a person. The next call was placed in an attempt to contact my tutor to advise her that I would not be able to keep my appointment. Found Excellent Tutor
I looked through the tutor profiles which were very informative and found Joseph who was the perfect match for my grandson. He is a great tutor who has provided my grandson good practice and explanations of math. Customer Support has been excellent also, I am not the most proficient at the computer. They helped me sign up and also answered all my questions.

Great Tutor Search
I was looking for a ESL tutor for my Spanish speaking husband. The profiles were very detailed and I found the tutor I thought would best meet our needs. I was correct. Our tutor has been coming to our house each week for the past three weeks and we are very happy that we found her and we will continue using her. WyzAnt was a great help. The best way to find a tutor!
I needed a tutor for our son. I googled and the first search engine was WyzAnt. I clicked on WyzAnt and the first tutor on the list seemed to be a fit for our son. We set up an account, made the appointment, and he has had 3 lessons thus far. We are extremely happy with the tutor, the way the payment is set up and how he comes to our home to teach our son! Very Easy To use
When your child is in trouble, any good parent will do anything they can to see their child succeed. My son needed tutoring, so I began looking into it. Some of the more known places to go for tutoring were over priced and just felt to gimmicky I found WyzAnt on a Google search. I put in my zip code and got a whole list of tutors, qualifications, bios, feedback etc. I got lucky on my first attempt. The tutor I found just seemed so right and she was. Exchanging info, setting up tutoring appointments, and payment is very easy. I am more than pleased with this service.

Great tutor search and selelction
Compared to other sites I've seen, WyzAnt is so easy to use. And everything is up front: people, experience, price. It's so nice not to have to wade through a bunch of talk to get to what you are looking for. And the tutor selection is good. Somewhat thin for my area but only because I was being really specific in what I wanted for my daughter. Our tutor Lara has been great and really helped! My daughter's last math test was an A+!

Our WyzAnt tutoring experience got results!
My son's SAT writing score was much lower than his verbal or math score. He wanted to apply to some competitive colleges and it was important to bring the writing score up. His schedule was full of after-school activities, but our tutor Maureen was able to work with his schedule. After three sessions with her he took the SAT again and his writing score went up 80 points! We're grateful for the flexibility to attack one specific goal in a short period of time. It worked!

With me working full time and both my girls participating in after school activities, finding time to squeeze the French classes in was a main concern. With WyzAnt this is not an issue. WyzAnt Makes It Easy
I was a bit daunted by the task of finding a music teacher for my daughter because she plays an instrument that is not the typical piano or violin. WyzAnt made that search really easy. Although there was only one or maybe two teachers available, the tutor we found turned out to be a good fit. WyzAnt also made it easy for me to submit payment - it's all done online, which I appreciate. I also appreciate that WyzAnt allows me to communicate directly with the teacher through email. The teacher is great; my daughter really likes him and with only three lessons, she has learned a lot and her technique has improved greatly.

So Far, So Good
I used your service to locate and hire a tutor for my son where we vacation each summer. My favorite part of WyzAnt is the ability to pre-purchase a package, and have the session amount simply deducted from my credit. (I do hope that our tutor is compensated in a timely manner.) I, and my son, have been so impressed with our tutor! He understands our objectives and works with my son toward those goals. He makes the sessions interesting, fun, and the time flies by. He makes my son want to learn more. (We have at least 6 more weeks to go of this "Summer Enrichment Experience".) Our tutor is very organized and a great communicator, not only of what was learned in a session, but what the homework is and what comes next.
Painless and Productive
I wanted to secure a tutor for SAT prep for my daughter. I evaluated classroom prep and determined it was a better bet to have private, customized tutoring. It was easy to find the right match and my daughter has been extremely happy with how customized the tutoring is and how knowledgeable and helpful her tutor has been on really honing in on key areas as well as providing great guidance about test-taking.

This is the first tutor I have used and I have found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We meet weekly and I am learning Chinese which is difficult for me. Positive Results
When the need to locate a suitable language instructor became an issue, I began to search the web. My personal experience with WyzAnt has been outstanding. I needed help in upgrading my computer literacy. My instructor Mike is a "Tech God" in my opinion. With relative ease he made all my electronic gadgets resolve their differences and recognize one another. Now there is peace in the valley. He connected things that needed to be connected. The Best Tutoring Service Around!
I must admit that I am very impressed with this tutoring service. WyzAnt is a great service as it allows you to pick the tutor that best suits your needs. I had a selection of tutors to choose from for chemistry and I found the right tutor to help me with the subject. I picked a location that was near as I don't travel a great distance. The tutor has been most awesome in trying to better help understand the principles of chemistry. I just wish that I was aware of WyzAnt earlier on last year, otherwise I would not have had to retake Chemistry 110 again. I would also like to say that the payment option is most reasonable. I don't have to put hundreds of dollars down for a tutoring service.
