I wish I had discovered this four years ago
My teen's new chem tutor has been a big boon to her performance. Her classroom teacher's explanations are unclear to her. Michael, her tutor, has crystal clear explanations. In just three sessions, she's moving from an F to a C, and I expect her to be an A level student by the end of the semester. Wyzant's process is easy to work with. My teen was able to choose a tutor she thought she could work with. I appreciated that background checks had been run. And payment is a breeze. I had suggested skype based tutors to my teen in the past, but she didn't like the idea of it. I would have saved my teen a lot of heartache -- and me, a lot of "have you got the homework done" -- if I had discovered Wyzant's service at the start of high school.
Tutoring has changed everything for the better
On demand 1 on 1 education has proven priceless. I've covered more in an hour session than weeks of college. No exaggeration. Currently using Wyzant in a non school environment, learning how to construct my business website. Thank you Wyzant, and the tutors, cannot emphasize enough how happy I am I found this site.
Easy and user-friendly
Wyzant is pretty efficient in all aspects and I appreciate the opportunity to receive instruction through the freelance tutors on their site and I also provide to provide my own tutoring services. It has all been very easy which is a great selling point.

I have had 4 tutoring sessions so far (with 2 different tutors). They have both gone above & beyond to make sure that I grasp what we are working on. They take the extra time to show me steps and explain things to me. I am very happy so far!

Tutoring Experience
My 16 year old was very resistant to tutoring for her Pre-Calculus class, but the ease of Wyzant and finding a tutor that works best with her has gotten us back on track. Lifesaver!
Wyzant has been a lifesaver for my daughter. We were able to book a tutor for some last minute help before a quiz. Since then we have booked regular sessions with our favorite - Gayle, and my daughter's grades in math keep going up.
Awesome Tutors
I used Wyzant to find a tutor to help my son boost his Science ACT score and to also get help with college essays. My son was accepted to Northwestern University a few days ago. I truly believe Wyzant played a part in that. Thanks to two great tutors and Wyzant.
