So far so good!
This is a very easy website to navigate. The write ups on each tutor made the search very simple to find what you were looking for. The tutor we selected has been punctual, professional, personable and very useful to our 15 year old son. I love the upfront payment and the frequent assessment of the account. I totally stumbled onto this service and am SO GLAD! HAPPY MOM FROM BOSTON, NY.
Great tutor and a great selection.
So happy to have found just the right tutor for my child. The tutor had a great rapport with my son and made learning enjoyable. I am so glad I found WzyAnt. I liked the fact that you can read about your potential tutor and see what their strong areas of expertise are and that makes it easier to make a match.
Good Tutor Selection
I was not sure at first if I would find a the right tutor. There were many options - price wise, location wise and so forth. Now that I have used WyzAnt I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Great experience so far
This site has been so easy to find a tutor and we like the payment system. So far our tutor is doing very well with our child which is a huge relief for us. We have gone through a few tutors that just didn't work out.
Awesome Tutor
My experience finding a tutor has been stressful. I stumbled upon this website while searching for a tutor in my area. I was crunched for time as I was into the middle of my semester at school. Due to this website, I was able to find a tutor at such short notice. He has been dedicated and wonderful. I have really learned alot from him. I told him that he should just come to my college and teach the class. Also, I like the security of payment and the surveillance that Wyzant has regarding communication between the two parties. Thanks Wyzant.
Site works very nice
I was extreme impressed with the tutor we have. She did help him bring up his grade a little is the short 4 - 5 weeks she had to work with my grandson. If he needs to take summer school we will be utilizing her resources again from the beginning. The web site works very nice and I had a lot of people to choose from. Thank you.
Very Reliable
The reviews of the tutor I selected for my son were spot on. Our tutor is very systematic and detailed with her coaching and instruction. The WyzAnt payment search tool and payment system are very easy to use. I would recommend this website for those seeking assistance for themselves or their children!
Excellent Service!
When I realized my daughter needed an Algebra 1 tutor ASAP I didn't know where to start. After searching online for tutors I came across WyzAnt, and I am so happy I found it! It was so easy to find highly qualified tutors near me in exactly the subjects I needed. The responses from tutors I contacted was really fast and I was able to begin sessions right away! Our tutor is great! She even teaches Algebra in a public school and knew exactly how to relate to my daughter. After only 3 weeks of sessions my daughters Algebra grade went from 69% to 89%!!! I couldn't be happier and I tell everyone I know about this service! Thanks WyzAnt!

We were able to find a quality tutor quickly through WyzAnt. When we met and interviewed the tutor her qualifications matched what was on the website and so far we have been very satisfied with her professionalism. Easy selection process for tutor -- great match.
It was easy to go through the process of finding a tutor for my daughter and algebra 1a. The tutor is a perfect match for my daughter and has been a tremendous help my daughter understanding the material and giving her confidence in test taking.

Great tutor search and selection
The Wyzant app came in very handy when I needed to find a math tutor quickly. We needed to put supports in place and find the right tutor when our daughter needed help with her precalculus class. The website is very straightforward and it is good that you have photographs of the tutors. Once I found this great tutor (Jason A.) through you, I was able to keep contacting him for further help and have kept getting help from the same person.
Great Service and Tutor
I came to Wyzant, desperate for a tutor to help me rewrite part of a final IT-related project. I reached out to a couple of local tutors, but the tutor with whom I worked actually reached out to me, and was not in my geographical area. Wyzant has a whiteboard system where tutors and students can have an online meeting, with or without the video camera. I was skeptical of this service at first, as I have never used a service like this one ever. Turns out, my tutor was reliable, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and SO patient. We had three sessions, I think? That said, I finished my rewrite, and just found out I received a final overall grade of B, which is higher than I expected before the tutoring. I am very satisfied with my WyzAnt experience. I highly recommend it.
