Great tutor selection
My tutor was God sent and I was able to grasp algebra. She let's you use your own mind when helping and I couldn't do it with out her help. What a wonderful tool for learning. Well worth the time, money and effort. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs that little one on one.

Very pleased
I do not know whether I was just lucky or whether all your tutors are so great. As soon as I get school schedule together will be trying to work our wyzant tutor Mary c back into our schedule. We have high quality schools in fairfax county. However teacher student ratios are increasing. At the same time as a parent I am not always the best tutor. Using a service like wyzant with a great tutor is a great alternative to private school or homeschooling. I am sure I will come back to wyzant throughout my daughters education.
Excellent Tutor Search for My Zip Code Area
I was able to very quickly find a tutor to support my requirements through WyzAnt. My experience with Susan H. was outstanding. She was a subject matter expert in Calculus and was very flexible with her time. WyzAnt vectored several tutors to support me - this gave me options. I appreciate the experience.
Easy Tutor search
Very user friendly, email communication is quick, payment is easy. I like the fact that I can check reviews of specific tutors. Also, the tutor we found has thus far been nothing but professional and is doing a great job!
I have found 2 great tutors!
I have found two wonderful tutors to help my son through WyzAnt. The first tutor helped him with with organization and study skills. The second tutor for high school math and chemistry. Using WyzAnt was easy. The reviews and bios really helped me select who I thought would work best with my son. Both tutors were perfect!

Good Source for Finding a Tutor
I was fortunate to have found a good tutor at first check. I think the prices are reasonable. I only talked with customer service the one time, so I don't have any feedback on that.

Tutor Search
Was very interesting and informative. I had many hits on my request and found the perfect tutor for my grandson. He is into his second week with her and seems to be gaining confidence in his knowledge of the subject. Having the sessions in a non-traditional setting seems to be the trick for him. Thank you

We found a great tutor for our son easily on Wyzant. She is patient, kind and able to deliver. She quickly identified our son's strengths and weaknesses and adjusted accordingly. She anticipated the need to go back and revisit the basics in math with our son so he can progress in geometry. Thanks.
Easy to use
It's been really easy to use WyzAnt. My work schedule is a bit erratic and I have a tough time booking weeks and sometimes days ahead. I can contact many tutors to see if anyone is available in the area and this has made it much easier to book time for help.
Overall service
I have had a good experience finding an appropriate tutor and getting what I need. In addition, the policies are clear and protect both me and the tutor. And the payment is efficient; I like getting the email notification immediately.

Great tutor selection.
I have a son who was recommended to be retained in kindergarten. After weighing our options, we choose to move him to first grade and have him tutored for the summer. It was not easy to find a tutor until I found Wyzant. Wyzant has a great selection of tutors to choose from.

Tutor Review
I wanted to say that WyzAnt helped me to find a great tutor. I sent out a request for a math tutor and I had a few answers to my request and hooked up with the best tutor ever. Her name is Alina B. Without her I would not have gained the courage to continue my education. I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college. Thanks to Alina B.'s confidence in me I could go all the way. All this was because WyzAnt gave me the chance to find a great tutor, so I have to thank WyzAnt and of course Alina B. Thank you to both of you, continue helping people and making the world a more educated place.
Found a tutor quickly for immediate help
Within an hour of requesting a tutor, three people had emailed me, with one providing their cell phone. He helped me over the phone with my algebra problems. It has truly been a lifesaver for me since I have finals next week. Great tutor, great experience!
Great Website, Great Tutor
I was in a panic. My daughter started summer school and was already having a hard time. With only a few weeks of school, it was essential we find a tutor immediately. The WyzAnt site was incredibly easy to use and we had a tutor coming over within two days. The tutor is professional, friendly and most importantly, a tremendous help to my daughter. Our tutors were always professional and the pricing is amazing for the area we live in. Great in a pinch as well when needed tutoring on short notice. We used tutors for Chemistry and Calculus.
Great way to find the Right Tutor
This has been a good experience so far. We where able to find a tutor that fit our daughters needs. I like that we pay through WyzAnt and conduct everything through this one place then there are no miss understandings. It has been a very positive and easy way to find just the right person for ours and our daughters needs. We found our tutor to be very responsible and true to her resumé and it is working out well. We meet at the public library which I like. Less distraction for my daughter. I would definitely recommend WyzAnt for some one looking for a Tutor.

Easy tutor search
When my daughter started her summer calculus class, we knew she would need a bit of extra one-on-one help. We decided on a tutor, and I can say that he is great. He is patient, and very knowledgeable. He explains things in a manner in which my daughter understands. We are so glad we found this website that helped us find a tutor for our needs.
Excellent Tutoring Service
We were searching for a tutoring service (for the ACT test) after trying both online and group class sessions that were not very helpful at all. At Wyzant we were contacted by a number of very qualified tutors and have been working with a fabulous tutor for several weeks. For the first time, our daughter is building her confidence, grasping the science and math materials, and learning test-taking strategies. We are extremely happy with WyzAnt and plan to use WyzAnt in the fall if our daughter needs tutoring help for AP Calculus. This is by far the best test prep experience we have had (and we have had many!). Our tutor is simply fantastic. She is extremely well prepared and understands very well all aspects of test preparation. She responds promptly to all communication, and has offered superb guidance. Her lessons are well paced and her tutoring skills are superb. We are so grateful to have found her through WyzAnt.

It has been a great experience overall. I found a great tutor for my son and in just a few lessons I started noticing a dramatic change on his reading. Easy to find tutors! Fast results as well!
I found Wyzant online. I was very pleased to see all of the tutor options available! The website is user friendly, and the tutors respond promptly! I also loved that some of the tutors already have background checks and if they don't you can pay to have one! No pressure to use either, I love that no one calls you to push the "sale"! I will recommend this company to my friends.

Easy and reliable
It was my first time using a tutor service. My son needed help with calculus. I was leery at first of the quality of tutors I would encounter and ease of finding one. This service was amazing. In a matter of one day, I input my criteria, was provided many, many tutors and their profiles and selected one and scheduled the first session. The whole process was so easy. It was great to see others reviews which were spot on. I was surprised to also find a tutor within a mile of my house that could come to our home and was available to meet our schedule. Definitely recommend this service.

Experience using WyzAnt
Our experience so far has been good. There were just too many educators for tutoring to choose from. We got lucky and found an educator in the town we live in so that made the experience even better. We have one week under our belt and about six more to go. I am confident that we will get the extra help needed for our son before school begins again.

I didn't know what to expect when joining WyzAnt, however, I must say that my experience thus far has exceeded my expectations. My tutor is very knowledgeable but also flexible. She tracks my progress from week to week with certain goals but she understands when I am feeling overwhelmed and adjusts her expectations accordingly.

Everything going great
So far I'm very pleased. My tutor is very good and flexible regarding hours. My only issues is that I've not been able to spend as much time focusing on my own practice as much as I need to, but that is my issue and something that I'm going to improve on very soon. I'm really glad that I found WyzAnt. My experience has been positive and I will use you for other classes as time goes on.
