We found the right person, right away
Using WyzAnt, we were able to find a perfect fit for our daughter very quickly. I was amazed at the high quality of the tutors using this site to find students! We found a tutor that was way beyond our expectations. Even using my considerable connections, there's no way I could have found this person searching on my own.
Good Start
Just now starting the service. So far it appears to be a great resource. I am in the process of studying for the PTCE and require a little assistance with pharmacy math and I feel this will be of a great help to me. So far the communication with the tutor has been positive and look forward to future interaction with him to get me pointed in the right direction. I previously held a Pharmacy Technician in another state and it has expired. I have a opportunity to return to Pharmacy but I need to get certified in the state I am now currently residing in. I know this will help me brush up on the math.

I've been wanting to incorporate continuing education into my professional development for many years but my career involves a lot of travel. I haven't been able to commit to attending regular academic classes. An ideal solution for me is to get one on one tutoring. The next obstacle was identifying a good source to find capable tutors. Vast Tutor Selection and Response
We were very happy to see the vast number of tutors available through WyzAnt and to be able to read their profiles and reviews was very helpful. After initially choosing one tutor, many other very good alternatives were also suggested. We had our pick of at least 6 highly qualified individuals! We went with our first choice and have been most pleased w/ the results.
WyzAnt is Amazing!
We had some trouble staying on level with homeschooling. My grandchildren needed tutoring in several subjects and we hit the jackpot when we discovered WyzAnt on the Internet. We found a tutor named Ting and she is wonderful. She lives so close to us as well so the travel time is minimal. WyzAnt's website is easy to use for posting reviews, purchasing credit and viewing the lessons the tutor gives each session. Did not need to do tutor search
It has been a great experience. My tutor is very professional and very efficient. I have learned more in 3 lessons with my tutor than I did in 1 year with other language programs. I would recommend Wyzant to anyone who is trying to learn a new language.
Local Tutor - Payment for Lessons
The tutor that contacted me from Wyzant is wonderful. You can tell that she is very patient and has a love of what she is doing. She is wonderful!!!! After the session my son is very happy that he has accomplished something he wasn't sure about doing. The payment of the lessons is very easy once you are set up it just takes a click of a button which is nice.

Great Tutor Search And Selection
I used WyzAnt for an accounting tutor for my son who lives in Philadelphia. Since I do not live in Philadelphia and never would have had the opportunity to meet the tutor, I selected WyzAnt because I really liked the "money back if you're not satisfied for the first hour" policy. I was impressed with the caliber of the tutors and the quick response that I received when I requested a tutor. My son has had 3 tutoring sessions to date and he feels that the tutor has definitely helped him improve his understanding of the course material. I also like the way WyzAnt has set up the tutoring reports and the feedback features that WyzAnt provides with these reports. Keep up the good work, WyzAnt!
Its been a good experience so far
I started looking online for a tutor. Checked one website before yours but it seemed really complicated to enroll so I exited their site and clicked on yours. Your website made it easy for me to sign up. My daughter is adopted from China and has been in the USA for 11 months. When she came, she couldn't speak any English, had never seen English letters, etc. I enrolled her in kindergarten anyway and I really had to spend every free moment teaching her and going over whatever the assignment was all year long. She is really smart and she ended up finishing kindergarten speaking and reading in English although she was in the lowest reading level. But, this summer she just got tired of me drilling her on her sight words and reading. She wanted me to play barbies with her or help her build something out of legos. Getting a tutor has just really been the right thing to do. She looks forward to the tutor coming and stays on task while she is with her. The best part is that we get to play more! She is doing great and should be caught up in time for first grade! Thanks again!

Great tutor selection
My tutor was God sent and I was able to grasp algebra. She let's you use your own mind when helping and I couldn't do it with out her help. What a wonderful tool for learning. Well worth the time, money and effort. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs that little one on one.

Very pleased
I do not know whether I was just lucky or whether all your tutors are so great. As soon as I get school schedule together will be trying to work our wyzant tutor Mary c back into our schedule. We have high quality schools in fairfax county. However teacher student ratios are increasing. At the same time as a parent I am not always the best tutor. Using a service like wyzant with a great tutor is a great alternative to private school or homeschooling. I am sure I will come back to wyzant throughout my daughters education.

I was able to very quickly find a tutor to support my requirements through WyzAnt. My experience with Susan H. was outstanding. I have found two wonderful tutors to help my son through WyzAnt. The first tutor helped him with with organization and study skills. The second tutor for high school math and chemistry. Using WyzAnt was easy. The reviews and bios really helped me select who I thought would work best with my son. Both tutors were perfect!

I was fortunate to have found a good tutor at first check. I think the prices are reasonable. I only talked with customer service the one time, so I don't have any feedback on that.

Was very interesting and informative. I had many hits on my request and found the perfect tutor for my grandson. Easy to use
It's been really easy to use WyzAnt. My work schedule is a bit erratic and I have a tough time booking weeks and sometimes days ahead. I can contact many tutors to see if anyone is available in the area and this has made it much easier to book time for help.

Great tutor selection.
I have a son who was recommended to be retained in kindergarten. After weighing our options, we choose to move him to first grade and have him tutored for the summer. It was not easy to find a tutor until I found Wyzant. Wyzant has a great selection of tutors to choose from.

I wanted to say that WyzAnt helped me to find a great tutor. I sent out a request for a math tutor and I had a few answers to my request and hooked up with the best tutor ever. Her name is Alina B. Without her I would not have gained the courage to continue my education. I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college. Found a tutor quickly for immediate help

Great Website, Great Tutor
I was in a panic. My daughter started summer school and was already having a hard time. With only a few weeks of school, it was essential we find a tutor immediately. Great way to find the Right Tutor
This has been a good experience so far. We where able to find a tutor that fit our daughters needs. I like that we pay through WyzAnt and conduct everything through this one place then there are no miss understandings. It has been a very positive and easy way to find just the right person for ours and our daughters needs. We found our tutor to be very responsible and true to her resumé and it is working out well. When my daughter started her summer calculus class, we knew she would need a bit of extra one-on-one help. We decided on a tutor, and I can say that he is great. He is patient, and very knowledgeable. He explains things in a manner in which my daughter understands. We are so glad we found this website that helped us find a tutor for our needs.
Excellent Tutoring Service
We were searching for a tutoring service (for the ACT test) after trying both online and group class sessions that were not very helpful at all. At Wyzant we were contacted by a number of very qualified tutors and have been working with a fabulous tutor for several weeks. For the first time, our daughter is building her confidence, grasping the science and math materials, and learning test-taking strategies. We are extremely happy with WyzAnt and plan to use WyzAnt in the fall if our daughter needs tutoring help for AP Calculus. This is by far the best test prep experience we have had (and we have had many!). Our tutor is simply fantastic. She is extremely well prepared and understands very well all aspects of test preparation. She responds promptly to all communication, and has offered superb guidance.
