Great 1-on-1 Learning Experience
I love the two tutors that we use. It's always awesome when your child says I learned an easier way to complete my assignments. I have seen changes in his grades and we have had four sessions so far.
Easy to Connect to Great Tutor
Website easy to navigate and to set up account. Found great Spanish tutor for my daughter on the first try. Scheduled initial session within a week. Impressed with the quality of tutors available in my area. Ours is top notch, well organized, and a great fit for my daughter.
Great tutor selection!
Found some very qualified and wonderful local tutors through Wyzant. They worked with my child’s schedule too. I wanted to pick one from the selection we narrowed down to but we may end up scheduling different time slots with them all because they all bring different strengths to the table! Wow! Thanks Wyzant for giving my child such an opportunity to excel that I never thought was possible.

Very happy with the variety of tutors and their quick response when the SOS was sent out lol! Also very polite. Prices range. I was happy to see on line options as well as local with great flexibility amongst the tutors. My tutor is amazing helping a college student with Algebra. Hands down his style and approach work. Very dedicated instructor!
Great Tutor
Have matched the perfect tutor for our 14 yr old daughter who needed help in Geometry. Loved the selection of tutors provided by your service. Our daughter's friend told us about Wyzant as she had found a tutor to help her and raved about him. We could not use the same tutor as different math class but found someone equally spectacular.
Great tutor search
I had no idea where to turn to for a tutor. We've never used one before and with AP classes needed a smart tutor, first pick worked out perfectly!

This was my first experience needing a tutor for my child. Wyzant provided a vast array of tutors and the website made it simply to set up the session.
Good Fit Guarantee
The first tutor was not a good fit, and Wyzant refunded the lesson. It was easy. The second tutor was a much better fit and our son is very happy. Transactions are effortless and money exchanges hands after the lesson, and a receipt promptly arrives in my inbox. Wyzant is the Uber of tutoring!
Amazing Tutor search and selection
This service was introduced to me by my student support advisor, and I am glad this service is available for students doing online degree programs. Sometimes, it is difficult to find a tutor who knows the materials/subject matter and those who are good explaining and clarifying thinking processes of the students so they can better grasp the topics. Thank you.

My son has never enjoyed school and he's a senior... that being said this is his second session and he really like his tutor. She makes him feel confident in himself and ability to pass the upcoming big testing. Thank you so far so good

Quick responses and excellent tutors
I reached out to Wyzant needing immediate help for my daughter with calculus. I had never heard of Wyzant, and it was only one of the places I contacted. The response from multiple tutors was immediate, friendly, and helpful. On that first day, my daughter made appointments with two tutors -- one online and the other in-person -- and got great help from both. She has since continued tutoring sessions with the person she met in-person, and is grateful for the tremendous help he has given. Cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Wyzant.
Found a great Spanish 5 tutor
Wyzant helped us find Alani, a fantastic spanish tutor. Our son is in AP Spanish 5 but was uncomfortable speaking spanish conversationally and was getting a C. After four sessions with Alani where he was forced to speak conversationally for an hour, with helpful corrections/suggestions (over the month prior to his 1st semester final) - he got his grade up to a B and is getting more comfortable speaking. We're going to keep it going and we expect that it should help greatly for the AP test! So glad we found her!

Online Tutoring
I was thrilled to find this website! What a wonderful resource and detailed website Wyzant turned out to be! I was nervous at first to begin online tutoring but my worries soon vanished! I logged on late at night and heard back immediately from several tutors offering assistance, all who had extensive background in my needed subject area. Karen was the perfect fit for my educational needs and booked several session with me to help write my final paper for a class I was struggling in. I didn't tell Karen this, but I needed to make an A on this paper in order to maintain my A in the class. I made a 93 on the paper and was thrilled to keep my 4.0! Karen was very flexible and met with me several times over the week to provide assistance. I had known about this assignment for several weeks and did not understand how to complete it at all prior to working with Karen. She broke it down easily for me and answered all the questions I had! She was very patient and delayed several sessions so I would have more time to finish the paper before she could review it. Karen even scheduled a late night session with me to go over the paper one last time before submitting! Karen was truly amazing and I am so thankful for this website and the excellent service provided!
