I must say, I have been very pleased with the services provided to me for medical math. I appreciate the one on one learning experience and I am able to apply what I learn in my courses. I will continue to use the services as I advance in my nursing program.

The system is very easy to use and navigate. Several tutors responded very quickly and were ready to help immediately, which is what I needed for my son. Great Tutor: Great Experience
I'm amazed at how easy WyzAnt made it for me find the right tutor and to arrange payment for his services. Within an hour of requesting help, I had 4 different tutors respond to me via my email. I was able to choose the one I felt was best suited to my learning needs and within an hour I had an appointment to meet with my tutor. Math Tutor help
I googled Math tutor help in my area, and it brought up Wyzant. I had already been to Sylvan and found that is was very expensive. I took a chance on Wyzant and had a response within a day for a Math tutor in my area. He comes to our home for one on one with my daughter, and we are paying about $10 less per hour. It has been a great experience so far. I am pleased.

The Perfect Alternative
I started looking for classroom setting when I realized that I either had too much knowledge or was behind the rest of the class and never quite found the right class. Having spent time living in Mexico, I had some working knowledge of the language. I contacted WyzAnt about a Spanish Tutor and had a huge selection of people to choose from in my area. We are able to key in on areas of weakness and we don't waste time on things I already know. I also have more opportunity to speak in Spanish as opposed to being in a class with other students. I plan to continue my tutoring through the summer.

I have used WyzAnt in the past and found the experience very positive, so when I was in need of a tutor again, WyzAnt was the first place I turned! Again, not disappointed. Thus far, my experience with Wyzant has been very positive. I was able to easily locate, and communicate with 2 tutors in our area, for our daughter. She has had 2 sessions with one, and one with the other, and is feeling a lot more positive about her learning abilities. Payment has been very convenient, as I had an exisiting Paypal account.

Good Experience
Initially, I was a bit frustrated with your service. One of your tutors had initially indicated she might be available but then was quite remiss in getting back to me on whether she could meet at specific times/dates. It was frustrating and, in my opinion, unprofessional. Ultimately, though, we made contact with another tutor who was much more responsive in terms of coordinating on meeting times/dates. When he visited our home, he quickly assessed my son's needs and worked with him intensely on addressing them. He sent follow-on messages offering recommendations for my son to take up between lessons. My son seemed to develop a good rapport with the tutor and was conscientious about completing assignments between lessons. Overall, we were very pleased and I anticipate we may call on your service and even this particular tutor next academic year.

Great Resource for Finding Tutors
Finding a tutor through WyzAnt was easy. There are many to pick from with a variety of fees. My daughter's tutor, Laurie, is very knowledgable and helpful to my daughter. She is much more confident about retaking the ACT. Laurie was also very willing to meet wherever and whenever worked out best for us. I am very happy with WyzAnt.

I did a not so good experience with 1 tutor and I submitted a review and in less than 24 hours you guys refunded my money and I was indeed a satisfied customer. My daughter has been working with "Ms. Katie" for a few weeks and thus far the results have been very positive. Katie has listened to my educational concerns regarding my daughter, she has researched the public school requirements and is tutoring based on the SOL standards (as we discussed). Katie is thorough in execution of the curriculum outlined for my daughter, and is staying on course while tutoring. Additionally with her background in special education, Katie is a great match for my daughter's needs. Her tutoring is helping my daughter with her math skillset, preparing her for high school and also building her self esteem; all things I believe is giving her self confidence and making her want to achieve higher learning. Tutors, good servce for the price
I selected a tutor close to home, but allowed others to respond. Got 2 hits, one who responded quickly, and who came to my home the next day. She has worked out great. Lots of selection of people with various levels of experience. There is no reason you can't find a tutor to suit your needs. Well worth the money.
Great Tutor Search, Selection and Outcome
We are very happy with the WyzAnt program. We needed an algebra tutor for our 13 yr old 8th grader. Many candidates responded to our initial request; many with professional backgrounds. Our tutor is an experienced, local maths teacher who is prompt, patient, and understands how to teach to a junior high student. We are so fortunate to have found her through the WyzAnt program. The payment system is straight forward; its a good value plus the feed back system for both teacher and parent is excellent. The best part is that our son no longer struggles and is starting to build confidence with math.

I found WyzAnt by searching for tutors over the Internet. I am very pleased I found them. Very, very efficient way to find tutors. Customer support representatives are very professional and cordial. The system as a whole is brilliant, with an easy payment process, way to give feedback after each tutoring session, etc. The tutor I ended up hiring was excellent. I got about a dozen responses within the firs half an hour of placing my inquiry for a Chem tutor and just decided to try one of them and it worked out perfectly well. I would definitely use WyzAnt again.

Good way to search for tutors in all subject.
So far, our experience with wyzant has been good. There was enough teachers with in our budget to choose from. They were puncture and seem to know the subject to teach. Also the payment system is simple to use. We are really glad to use wyzant.

Great sessions with a great tutor.
I never realized that WyzAnt existed until someone told me to go online and try to find a tutor. When I did, WyzAnt came up and the tutors would come to the home 20 miles and less. It so happened that the tutor lived within 5 miles and I emailed her, and gave her my phone number also. We made arrangements for her to come to my place, and the rest is history. Finding the WyzAnt website has been the gold resource of my summer, and not just for my daughter. I have been telling everyone about this site and describing it as a cross between Amazon and Facebook for anyone's learning needs. The site is well-linked and high functioning. It takes the customer smoothly from one end of business to the other. And, the creators of the site have thought of each step of a transaction and built in clear high functioning (no glitches!) steps to finding a tutor and managing the relationship. When the tutor is here, the focus is solely on my daughter. The WyzAnt site takes care of everything!

Helpful site for tutor searching
I've been new to town/USA and my son has found difficulties in catching up with a new environment and school work. I Googled it and found WyzAnt very useful in the following ways: Very informative in tutor background, i.e. subject, experience, photos, rates, etc. etc. that helps me to identify potential matches. I've so far tried two tutors and both are very helpful. The system that the tutors rely on does provide good tracking, an aspect that I like about for security reason from both ends. The background checks provide a little extra comfort. There are quite many responses and in a very short time once I posted my tutor search requirements, so unfortunately, I couldn't really respond to all of them. The backgrounds of the tutors seem to be very impressive.

Payment was extremely easy, obtaining extra course materials was simple, and the tutor was flexible around my schedule and made sure I had a personalized approach to learning. My tutor not only taught me the basics needed to understand SAT math, but he made me confident enough to attempt every problem with a "can-do" attitude making it so that by the time I took my SAT, I knew how to do almost every problem.

Excellent Results
Finding a suitable geometry instructor for my ninth grade daughter who feared losing her perfect A history due to a difficult class was very simple with WyzAnt. We were given a variety of tutors from which to choose, each with an attached brief bio. The one we selected has been very effective, as my daughter now understands the subject matter much more completely than what the class time with the instructor offered, and she now has a strong A.

Great Service and Qualified Instructors!
I don't like monopolies, but if you can crush the competition with sheer competence, go for it! If there are other players out there at your level, they are too hard to find to be a worry to you now at least. I originally signed up with another website for tutors and was buried by unqualified instructors offering their services and no response from the instructor I contacted. Your discount rates in bulk are great and the desire to please comes across in every email.

I have been studying with Linda for a few weeks now and am really enjoying my lessons. Linda is an excellent teacher and goes out of her way to find content areas in which I am interested. Very good in setting goals. Very supportive and encouraging - I am very rusty after many years of "lapsed" French practice and study and Linda is very patient. Infectious enthusiasm!
Great match for my specific tutoring needs
I was matched with several people on WyzAnt for a piano tutor. I was able to review each tutor and find out what their qualifications were, and whether they would be able to meet my needs. I am very satisfied with the tutor I found and feel that she is the best match for me. There is no way I would have been able to teach myself this quickly, and appreciate her experience, professionalism, and patience! My grandson needed some extra help with physics. The school was unable to provide a tutor. I turned to the internet and found WyzAnt. I was provided with a long list of qualified tutors. Found fantastic tutor for standardized tests
My son is preparing to take two standardized tests for high school admissions. He was a poor test taker and needed a lot of review in all subjects. After just a few weeks, he has already made substantial improvements in all four testing areas. My son loves the online tutoring, and he's a tough one to please. Because we don't have to waste time driving to a tutor, he is able to add an additional half hour to his sessions. He likes to be able to work from his room, talk to his tutor via video, do sample problems on the white board and save them to his computer. We live in a small town with not as many choices for tutors, but thanks to WyzAnt my son can work with great tutors from all over the country. He's already asked me to find him an online Spanish tutor. I have been more than impressed with WyzAnt's selection of tutors and how easy it is to set things up and pay online. I only wish we had started earlier.
Making a stressful moment easier
It was a shock to learn that our youngest wasn't doing well in school. We had so many questions - the first being: what can we do to help him? An internet search was overwhelming - so many tutors, programs and options. Who could we trust? Enter WyzAnt.
