Great tutor search and selection
From start to finish this has been a stellar experience. Great customer service and the best tutor ever. I found you by searching for a tutor for an elementary school student who was having trouble learning to read. I just put in the zip code and your company came up. If my granddaughter needs more tutoring I will be using the same tutor. If I can recommend Wyzant to anyone I am thrilled to do just that.
Problem solver!
We had a problem. It was time for a tutor, we needed one face to face - not over the Internet, and the amount of time we had available to invest in finding a tutor was very limited. Your app provided multiple tutors to choose from and gave us lots of helpful information about each tudor, including their background, experience, availability and cost. The app also provided the option to run a background check. It solved our problem! My son is now doing much better in the subject he is being tutored in, he has a great relationship with his tutor and I have piece of mind he is safe.
Great Tutor search and selection
I was looking for a Calculus and Physics tutor for my son who is a junior. I had gone through a few other sites with no success. Wyzant was great! I was able to get numerous tutors to respond to my request which eventually led me to someone who connected with my son. Thanks again.

Tutor Search & Selection are done in minimal few clicks. The site user experience flow is logically arranged and the process altogether has few clicks. Very neat and crisp, no clutter.
Wyzant has been awesome!
Wyzant has filled the void we have created by a "no so good" online class teacher. The tutor we selected knows his stuff and communicates with our daughter very well. The Wyzant interface works like a charm and is very intuitive. Wyzant will be out go -to tutoring service when we need one! Although we didn't need it, we loved the service guarantee also...takes the risk out of the finding the right tutor. Thanks!
Great site for Qualified Tutors
My expierence thus far with this tutoring site has been excellent. The tutor we selected for our daughters chemistry class is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Even though she has only had 3 sessions with this tutor her grade has already improved. I would recommend this tutoring site.
Invaluable Service
I tried to find Spanish teachers on my own. I thought this would be easy in Southern California, where Spanish is becoming as prevalent as English. I found tutors through the city recreation department and a local university, but my granddaughter needed a real teacher to progress. At first, I was reluctant to use a service like yours, worrying that the teachers would lose too much of their fee. Your services have proved to be invaluable. I would never have found Frank on my own, and I am pleased to add a small fee for Wyzant.

I wish I had discovered this four years ago
My teen's new chem tutor has been a big boon to her performance. Her classroom teacher's explanations are unclear to her. Michael, her tutor, has crystal clear explanations. In just three sessions, she's moving from an F to a C, and I expect her to be an A level student by the end of the semester. Wyzant's process is easy to work with. My teen was able to choose a tutor she thought she could work with. I appreciated that background checks had been run. And payment is a breeze. I had suggested skype based tutors to my teen in the past, but she didn't like the idea of it. I would have saved my teen a lot of heartache -- and me, a lot of "have you got the homework done" -- if I had discovered Wyzant's service at the start of high school.
Tutoring has changed everything for the better
On demand 1 on 1 education has proven priceless. I've covered more in an hour session than weeks of college. No exaggeration. Currently using Wyzant in a non school environment, learning how to construct my business website. Thank you Wyzant, and the tutors, cannot emphasize enough how happy I am I found this site.
Easy and user-friendly
Wyzant is pretty efficient in all aspects and I appreciate the opportunity to receive instruction through the freelance tutors on their site and I also provide to provide my own tutoring services. It has all been very easy which is a great selling point.
