Swift, On-Point and Knowledgeable Tutor Response!
Within a day of posting my search for a tutor for my 17 year old GED student, all three tutors contacted had emailed me, as well as two others I had not contacted. We chose a tutor based on his current experience with the new GED test, as well as his experience with at-risk students. We could not be happier with our choice. Tutoring is now ongoing, and the tutor, David B., is understanding, sensitive to our situation and encouraging. Thank you, WyzAnt!
Excellent Tutoring Service
The set-up of the program is excellent. Starting with the easy-to-use website search for tutors to the selection of tutors available. I would highly recommend to anyone needing tutoring.
Good tutor and customer support
The tutor we selected is great. He is knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I did call customer support once and the young man who spoke with me was cordial and helpful. I would definitely recommend WyzAnt.
Great Tutor Quality
Alex E. is the only tutor we have used through WyzAnt because he turned out to be a perfect match for knowing computer science AND math, and was VERY effective at teaching both to clear up concepts, work on problems and give the skills to tackle the next tests to pass. When we started our search, WyzAnt made the process simple and effective and we were contacted immediately by several very good candidates for tutor. We feel comfortable with the background checks for tutors, and the rating and review system plus the bio published by each tutor on the site helped us find the perfect match without any trial and error. Great service, reasonable rates, effective tutoring when it was needed!

Found a great tutor right away!
I was skeptical of the site after reading about other sites' problems, unauthorized or difficult to remove charges. I had never sought out tutoring either out of center or online. I was even expecting a hidden fee in there somewhere as per usual with many businesses like this, but I went to head and signed up and started the process because my 6th grader needed some help! I got several responses right away and found the tutor we selected quickly. When tutor schedules the lesson, WyzAnt confirms with me via email. Rescheduling a lesson is easy, and after the lesson is complete WyzAnt confirms with me this also. I'm perfectly satisfied!
Love our tutor and love WyzAnt
My experience with WyzAnt has been great! I enjoy receiving updates from my son's tutor and having the amount automatically withdrawn. I get notifications of when the payment will be coming out and I am able to log in and view the lesson history. It has been great to provide this information to my son's teacher. Everything has been with such smoothness and ease!!
Easy to set up tutoring outside of school!
I have my son working with two different tutors on various subjects. The tutors are easy to get in touch with and work well with my son. We are able to work out a schedule that works for us and it's great that the billing is electronic.
Just what you need, right when you need it!
I spent weeks trying to find a tutor, and then found WyzAnt! Being able to read the biographies, see that the background checks had been completed, and get in touch with prospective tutors before committing to a very important relationship (and starting all over) is a gift! The biographical information provided makes it so easy to narrow down the search for a good match, as does having the geographical boundaries of the tutor ahead of time. Being able to have the first session, and assess the fit, was terrific. Setting up a payment method keeps the business side out of the tutoring, which keeps the tutoring time discussions based on what they should be on: helping your child learn! I have verbally recommended WyzAnt, and our tutor, on numerous occasions in these first 3 weeks. Both my child and I are grateful to have discovered the service, and our tutor!
Great Tutor Selection
WyzAnt provided a number of good tutors to select from and we are very happy with David. David has gotten our son up to speed very quickly on his subject. Also the WyzAnt payment system through our credit card is easy. Highly recommended.
