Great Service!
WyzAnt is the most professional tutoring service I have ever got! Not only they have experienced tutors, but they also care that you understand what you doing when you try to solve a problem. I am lucky I found them!!
Great tutor
Although I was hesitant to commit to a website named Wyzant, I'm glad I was able to pass that. Because we found a great math tutor for our son. They are both committed and our son never complains about math tutoring, his confidence is increasing gradually in this subject. The hours and cost always match perfectly. I would strongly advise Wyzant for tutoring. Thanks!
Great website and great tutor!
This website was so easy to use. I just typed in the area we live in and the subjects my daughter needed help with and it gave me a list of tutors to choose from. I paid with credit card and the tutor showed up the next day. Our tutor is wonderful, and is really making a difference in my daughter's studies.
So Far So Great
We are early in the process, but I was very impressed by the selection and quality of tutors, at least as appears in their resumes. I appreciate that you offer a background check. You have made scheduling and payment very easy. As far as the impact on my daughter's success in math, that remains to be seen, but so far I have found the tutor, Cara, to be very professional, prompt in her summaries of the lessons given, and flexible in scheduling. This is a terrific service, and I will be recommending to others.
WyzAnt -- The Way to Go
In trying to find a tutor for my son in physics was difficult. I then contacted WyzAnt and was given 3 tutors to contact right away. The service and payment options are great. The tutor has been great with the physics topics.
Very helpful in searching for a tutor
I went online searching for a tutor for my daughter. I found WyzAnt and chose to use them for my search, because they have the tutors bios, experience and even pictures for some of them. But, what really made my decision was that they have background checks on file for some of the tutors and for the ones that do not already have one on file, it is very easy to obtain one through them.
Great Tutor
We have been with wyzant for about a month now, and have been very happy with our experience. Very easy to use, find a tutor, etc. Our tutor has been a great asset to our son's schooling. It seems that he just needed some one on one work, and is getting better with each quiz, etc.

Used WyzAnt to help my daughter with her Algebra II/Trig. Found a wonderful tutor that makes math sound so easy. He has worked with my daughter on a couple occasions and she seems to be getting it now. So thankful for a wonderful tutor.

Great idea, awesome tutors. I don't know about others but we could not be happier with the service. Our son was in for a poor grade and ended up with a better grade then he expected. How can anyone ask for more?
Chemistry 1406
I heard of WyzAnt from a good friend who was as concerned as I was about my chem class. He went online to search tutors in Ft Wth, and found WyzAnt! I am so relieved to have come in contact with such an amazing, professional, and highly intelligent "teacher", I like to call him. Frankie is able to explain in a variety of ways how to grasp many different concepts of chemistry! I really like his enthusiasm and passion for chemistry. Frankie has given me an appreciation for chemistry that even I am surprised about. I highly recommend Frankie for everything he has experience in & I recommend WyzAnt to students & parents who want to guarantee their personal or child's success in their studies. So far outstanding!
So far my experience is great. I was somewhat hesitant, but now that I have started I couldn't be happier with my tutor, the service and the ease of the whole process. I am going to hire another tutor for my 7th grader.
My experience with WyzAnt
I am very happy from my web-search to finding the perfect tutor for my grandson. We feel what we are paying is the best money we have spent on our grandson's future. WyzAnt has made it so easy from finding the best match for our grandson to easy payment.
Your service is good
Finding a tutor on the web was a bit challenging, but not impossible with you. Only two were found in our area. One thing I would like to see is away you can have access to the Schools program and teacher co-operation. I think this would benefit both the Student and tutor.
We found a great tutor through WyzAnt
Some kids won't admit they need help until it's an emergency. Why is that? We needed Pre-cal help and fast. Finals 2 weeks away and teetering on the edge of failing. Stumbled onto WyzAnt on the Internet and thought we would try it since I couldn't find any local college kids renting out their brains (tutoring). Website was easy to navigate. No problem with entering payment info but was unsure of how many sessions would be needed. I ended up putting too much on account. The reviews on the tutors were helpful. Used the first tutor we contacted. He was absolutely wonderful, and with only 3 sessions, had my son back on track and he passed the class. The tutor spoke with my son and me to determine what we needed/wanted to achieve and he customized the teaching to target and concentrate on those important areas. He was also very accommodating regarding the dates and times. This is the only experience I have had with WyzAnt but it was a good experience. I would not hesitate to contact them again if needed (but hopefully not).
Great Experience in General
My daughter desperately needed a tutor to help her dig out from under some missed assignments (due to an overabundance of extracurricular activities) and to prepare for upcoming mid-terms. I found WyzAnt on-line and was impressed with the resumes of many of the tutors available in my area. I exchanged emails with several, and was able to narrow down my search pretty quickly based on availability and rates. The tutor we have hired is so warm and congenial and she can get my daughter to buckle down and think! It has been a great relief to me not to have those daily battles with my daughter over her work completion. The tutor has promptly sent reports about what was accomplished in each session, and the service is quick to check in with me about any questions or concerns I might have. Great experience overall so far. Thank you WyzAnt!

I would recommend this company and tutor to anyone looking for a private tutor. The process of signing up was quick and painless. The tutor contacted me right away and she was all we had hoped for in a tutor. I am very pleased and she was worth every penny.

Awesome Service!
I am so pleased with WyzAnt! I'm learning a lot from my Excel tutor, he's wonderful. The whole process has been amazing to me in a number of areas. First, the initial site is so easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. Next, you are able to communicate briefly one on one with tutors before committing to one. Then, the payment process and review is perfect. Wyzant takes what I thought would be a daunting project into seamless selection and action. It allows me to get to learning- quicker. That's what it's all about. It's an awesome service.

I love this site. It is great to be able to see picture of tutors and learn about their interests and their background in the subject. I think the payment method is great too. I don't have to deal with any money exchange with the tutor because it is all done through WyzAnt. I have told two friends about WyzAnt as well. WyzAnt is a terrific concept. Information for those tutors who do not have a picture: While a picture doesn't tell much about a person, I would not hire an unknown tutor for my child without seeing a picture first.
