Variety of tutors to choose from
Very helpful sight in finding a tutor. Ability to sort by location or school subject. Also, if you are on a tight budget, as we are, you can see tutors available at their hourly rate. Unfortunately, the first 5 tutors I had chosen based on their background and subject knowledge, were not available and most of them got back to me letting me know in a timely manner. We have ended up with a tutor that is a tad higher in price than we were expecting, but she is wonderful and helping my daughter with her 9th grade geometry. It is definitely worth it, and effective. We have been meeting once a week at the local library, and this week will meet twice as my daughter has a test on Friday. Our tutor was able to accommodate us for a Thursday night meeting in preparation for Friday's test. I am satisfied with our tutor and how she has helped my daughter learn and gain confidence in her Geometry class.
Easy To Find An Excellent Korean Tutor!
WyzAnt made the search process so easy to find a Korean tutor for my son in our area. His tutor is not only accomplished in her field of study but is an absolute pleasure. We are very fortunate to have this service furnished through WyzAnt.
Excellent Program
After several long weeks of struggling with Algebra II, and grades that were falling below honor roll level, I looked into programs like Kumon,Sylvan and Kaplan. However, they were all cookie cutter type programs that required student assessment. However, the assessment was obvious, we needed to get a tutor to help with Algebra...nothing more. In addition, the cost of these programs and the overall time commitment were more than we thought were necessary. The next course of action was to search the internet and by simply putting in "Tutors" and our geographical region and were fortunate to have the website for WyzAnt pop up. There we found of host of resources that were able to support what was needed. A tutor. The other great thing is that tutor are subject specific and the courses range from all academic subjects, to more elective type project like music (both reading music and playing an instrument)to others who can help students with study skills, time management and test taking techniques. We have had great success with WyzAnt. The program provides a host of great tutors, who provide profiles and come from a wide geographic range. The tutor we have selected has proven to make a difference with our child's progress and they work very closely with during instructional periods. The one on one relationship gives students the added attention they may need, until they grasp the missing links and can connect with the subject. We feel assured that over the next month, grades will improve and the overall math average return to the top 10% of the class. I highly recommend this service! Wenrojo

I am so fortunate to have found this site. You sure have intelligent people in this site. Too bad I did not know about earlier, but in the little time, I was able to find a tutor that helped me in the last minute and got an "A" in my final.
Complex Math
Difficult finding a person who has the background and the competency with college level complex math. Wyzant helped in this respect with a number of professionals with excellent backgrounds and ability to convey complex topics.
Great tutors!
I needed help with the AP English assignments and SAT so I just decided to search the web and find what is available. I saw WyzAnt and wondered what it was about, so I clicked on their site to read more about their services. I decided to try it because they guaranteed your money back if you are not fully satisfied. After my first tutoring session, I was so impressed and decided to continue with the services. I did so well in AP English assignments so I requested a second tutor for SAT math. I was not disappointed. Both the English and Math tutors are very patient and professional in their tutoring. They make the lessons very easy to understand and fun. The payment for lessons is very good because you get a discount depending on how much credit you purchase. Compared to other tutoring services, I think WyzAnt is better because the tutors work with you on your specific needs and they get paid and are rated based on the customer. Other tutoring sites gets paid whether you are satisfied with them or not. I really like WyzAnt's approach to tutoring and will definitely continue tutoring with them. I will highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for tutors.
Best way to get a good tutor without a hassle.
I was very pleased with the process of getting a swim teacher for my grand kids. Gabe was very professional in his approach but also well liked by the kids. It was a good experience.

Great Experience
So far my experience with WyzAnt has been positive. Customer Service reps have been great and I am learning a lot from my tutor. I never even leave my home. We are using Skype since my tutor and I live in different states.
