Great tutor search.
We needed to find a capable tutor who was flexible to meet our son's busy schedule. Wyzant was an excellent choice. We had a wide variety of tutors to choose from and we are very happy with our choice.
Great Tutor Search
We have been very happy with our tutor, Melissa. She also has been a good inspiration to my niece, who is being tutored. I also was happy with the ease of finding a tutor in the Prescott area that is knowledgeable in ASVAB. It has been very worth the time and money spent.
Extraordinary tutors
I presently use two tutors from WyzAnt and they have been a God send. My child has learned so much and the tutors are so patient and take time to break down everything she does not understand. I highly recommend tutors from this site because they really love what they do. I can hear it each time they go over assignments and repeat items my child needs to understand. The tutors are always on top of their subjects and i am tickled to death when i hear my child say, "Oh, now i get it". Thank You for having tutors available in various subjects. Excellent Tutor - Deirdre D
Deidre is an excellent tutor, very patient and positive. She was able to assess my weaknesses in Greek Grammar studies and therefore help me overcome areas of frustration. Deirdre guided me step by step in each sentence construction, breaking it down so that I was able to overcome areas of difficulty. She also introduced me to resources so that I am able to improve and understand my studies better. I will definitely work with Deidre when in need, she is quick to contact you and ready to assist her student whenever she can. I am so thankful that I was able to connect with her, thanks to WyzAnt my search for a tutor was met.

Great tutor and program
We are very pleased with our experience with WyzAnt thus far. Sharon N. is a very caring and conscientious tutor, who put in extra effort with our son. She seems to take this task personally to get our son over the hump with math. I also love the easy payment system, since we don't have to worry about writing out a check every time she comes.

I needed some assistance when I first signed up and got excellent customer service via the phone. I have found the site easy to navigate and had a number of qualified tutors to chose. Great resource for finding tutors!
I had a great experience with WyzAnt. Prior to finding WyzAnt I was very frustrated with trying to find a tutor for my son. Their website was extremely easy to manage and in no time I was corresponding with potential tutors, all extremely qualified. This has been a good experience. I did not know how I would find a tutor for my great grandson in Waterloo, New York. WyzAnt popped up and it has been a very easy and successful process. William C has been a good tutor for my great grandson. He is teaching him just what he needs for the greater demands of the middle school curriculum.

Great resource but still need improve the website
When I searched a tutor, I found after I saw details on a specific tutor and wanted go back the page I left, but it always brought me back to the very beginning. It was annoying and not use friendly design. Also after I provided feedback (class review) on my tutor, the feedback didn't show up on my tutor personal page. It went to a big pool of "Reviews & Testimonials" under "Resources" tab. It is not good to promote the tutor as well as overall business.

I have been pleased with the results of finding a tutor through WyzAnt. I have never used a website to find a tutor, and I will recommend WyzAnt to others when I have the opportunity. The website was very helpful and easy to navigate during my search for a tutor. I especially found the profiles of the tutors helpful to help me match up the tutor's skill to what I needed as well as seeing the miles that the tutor was willing to travel. Finding a tutor to fit my schedule was easy once I got started. The tutors promptly responded to my email much quicker than I thought. This made the process much smoother and the selection faster. I found the payment for the lessons to be an efficient way to handle paying the tutor. I am very pleased with the tutor I selected. He is very knowledgeable, well prepared, is concerned that the student understands the material, reviews the material at the end of the lesson, gives homework assignments, and quizzes periodically so he can see where the student needs further instruction during his learning process. The customer support and feedback after each lesson is good and keeps me informed of the progress. So far, this has been a good experience.

Great experience
I was very pleased with my tutor and the site made my search so much easier. Was happy to not have to sign a contract and just pay a tutor per session. My German language tutor is amazing!
I met with Patrick yesterday morning. We started to speak German upon his arrival. We covered a lot of material, which I had always had questions about. He advised me on the many, complicated details of German grammar in his patient and thorough manner. Patrick allows me to proceed at my own pace. He makes the learning experience great fun and it is always possible for me to hear my own progress. As a professional educator, I would say that Patrick has a pedagogical gift and I am learning rapidly because of it. To anyone who is looking for an excellent German language tutor, I recommend Patrick most highly.

Web Development Tutoring
I am in the process of transitioning into a new career with Web Development/Design. In doing so I thought a tutor could help in the huge learning curve I am facing so I found WyzAnt quickly online. Their consistent communication and easy set-up was efficient and so helpful during this time. WyzAnt helped me find a great tutor in my area, Steve. Our sessions have helped me develop a clearer understanding of CSS, HTML and Dreamweaver. We have also spent some time on color and positioning of elements for each page, what people get from layouts and tricks to each of them. He always comes with recommendations to my learning process and resources I can get more from moving forward. He has a great approach to each session and my development plan ahead. Tutor search
Hello, wanted to share with you our experience thus far. Our daughter finished 9th grade. She failed all classed but started out fine. We decided to find a tutor for her and found Sara C. She has been more than a tutor for Allison, she has helped her in many ways so far ie: setting goals, building confidence & teaching her reading comprehension and study skills. My husband and I were very concerned for our girl and really did not know how to help her. Sara truly cares and has gone above and beyond and has put our worries to rest. We are ALL excited about homeschooling this year and Sara is even helping us with all of the details of how to go about homeschooling. Allison loves Sara and has a great connection with her! Successful Tutor Search
My college freshman was taking a summer chemistry course that he dropped during the second semester. He knew he would need a tutor, so we contacted the local university to see if he could sit in on their study session. That was not an option, so I decided to search online for a tutor and found WyzAnt. After emailing several teachers, we settled on a tutor that has been tremendous help. They meet at a neutral locations (library) and his tutor is very personable and is great at helping with concepts and homework. The price is well worth it! I will definitely recommend WyzAnt to anyone.

I was trying to find a tutor to prepare my daughter for SAT testing and specifically for math studies. She is a senior and wants to enter a four year university. Through WyzAnt, I was able to research several different tutors who have the experience and knowledge in the specific field we were looking for. The tutor we found, Niven, turned out to be perfect! I was relieved when I found a statistics tutor on WyzAnt. I heard horror stories about the difficulty of the course from other students. I found a tutor knowledgeable in this area. She has been very helpful. I'm glad that she is reliable and keeps the appointment time. I'm getting through the class pretty good and hope to get an A out of the course. I would recommend WyzAnt.
Great Tutor and Very Knowledgeable of Subject
Thanks to Liz, I was able to past my Physics course! I even got a decent grade, a B-!!! This would not have been possible, without here help. She is very professional, and very knowledgeable about physics, and probably any other subject she is offering help for. Believe me, just the word "Physics" used to gave me nightmare. But after my lessons with Liz, I'm no longer afraid and feel pretty confidence I have a solid understanding of the material. If you need help, give her a try...I am sure you will not be disappointed.

I have found that WyzAnt is very easy and have a great selection of tutors trained in various subjects. I found a tutor for language and have found the experience and my tutor both incredibly helpful and my tutor was very well prepared. It has made me look forward to my classes that I used to dread attending! All in all it has been a great experience! Bargin and Quality
Over the weekend I visited Huntington Learning Center, they wanted over $4300.00 for 68 hrs of instructions to prep my brother for the SAT's I contacted Wyzant having personally used them in the past and I was blessed to have found Raj who is more than qualified and was able to come to our home. He fees were reasonable (a bargin compared to the big box tutoring store)in addition, he is professional, very knowledgeable, teaches both strategy as well as application. My brother says, "he's cool", we are hands down pleased that we found an affordable solution without sacraficing quality in fact, I think we are getting more and we will continue services with Raj and rest assured my brother will be successful with the SAT as he will be well prepared thanks to Raj and Wyzant. Thanks a million!!!

Wide choice of local tutors and great response to my search.
I found WyzAnt via google, and was able to feed in my post code and find a selection of local tutors. I was impressed that I could do a background check on each tutor and that they each listed a short bio on the site. Payment was quick and easy through PayPal and I was able to keep track of my transactions. I would definitely recommend WyzAnt for anyone needing one on one tuition.
Great program overall!
First off, Samia, our tutor has been fantastic so far. She demonstrates mastery of the algebra II concepts. She has been teaching my son in a way that helps him to comprehend the equations and concepts. He is able to work through his homework more efficiently than before Samia.(In 3 sessions AND she comes to the house!) We are looking forward to continued success with the tutoring. With regard to the WyzAnt program, I was skeptical when I first looked into it. I googled "math tutor in mesa" and WyzAnt came up, along with other options. I chose to look into WyzAnt. It has worked into our week schedule, perfectly. I have been very impressed with the payment set up, the instant tutoring session feedback and the payment/"time clock" record keeping. I found WyzAnt through a search engine. I was in need of a tutor to help me understand what I was doing wrong on a state board. I had several responses within minutes of posting my request. Awesome Tutor and Website!!!
I was in desperate need to find some help for my daughter, who's a Senior and at high risk to not Graduate with her classmates due to failing her TAKS Math Test 5 times. She was also failing her Algebra II class with a 38 coming near to the end of the six weeks. I had reached out to her Algebra II teacher, TAKS Math Teacher and her school counselor. They all recommended before/after school tutoring but even with all of the extra help, she still failed the TAKS Math test in February. A co-worker suggested to look into a Private Tutor,I thought it couldn't hurt but only help right? but I was also told be ready to payout some Big Bucks. As a parent your willing to do whatever it takes to help your child in time of desperate need. I started to look into websites for private tutoring services and came across WyzAnt. I had never heard of this company nor did any of my fellow co-workers. I admit, I was uncertain and fearful of what I may end up with? Was I going to get ripped off? Who are these tutors? Do they do background checks? How much was this going to cost? After a few moments thinking about my daughter's stress level, hearing her up late at night not able to sleep and hearing the words, "I'm a failure", I took a leap of faith and registered. I was very impressed with the wide selection of tutors in our area and the quick response from one in particular, "Shannon A.". She was very compassionate and she heard my cry for HELP! After the first day of tutoring, my daughter and I both felt a huge sigh of relief. Finally, someone who can actually help! After two days of tutoring, my daughter started to understand her Math and after 2 weeks of tutoring, she managed to raise a 38 average to a 71 and passed her Algebra II class for the six weeks. My daughter's hard work,determination and with Shannon's help, I strongly believe my daughter will pass her TAKS Math next week. I will be forever grateful to Shannon and WyzAnt providing something that no one else could, "Hope". I'm even more surprised, I actually could afford the cost for the tutoring! I would highly recommend any parent or student to take a leap of faith and make the best investment ever with WyzAnt.
Easier website
I love your website and think it's a great idea. I think your website could be easier to use though. For example, I searched out tutors and when I messaged them I clicked the box that would put a bulletin out for other tutors to read so they could contact me as well. Now that I have someone there is no way (or I cant find it) to take down the bulletin so other tutors will quit contacting me. I also had trouble figuring out the back ground check.
