Great Experience!
We have been extremely satisfied, so far, with our experience with WyzAnt. We were hesitant at first, to use an online service to find a tutor for our child due to the unfortunate reality that the web can be a dangerous place. Our fears were quickly put to rest after our review of WyzAnt's services such as background checks, payment reviews before charging, and very descriptive listings of each tutor. We found a "perfect" match for our child easily and she is actually excited to meet with her tutor on a weekly basis. Unbelievably, after the first session, where she was tutored on proper note taking, she scored much higher than pre-tutor! It really is a spectacular service. We were new to the area and had no idea how to get our child some help with her academics. We found WyzAnt. Thank goodness!

Great resource
I called the school and they referred me to a tutor 45 minutes away! I had heard of this website through a friend and I tried it. It has been extremely helpful! I love the progress my child had made and plan on continuing to take advantage of this resource.

I found WyzAnt through google. I am glad, I have. I choose a tutor to tutor my kindergartener who is in need with his English, alphabet and math. She is a great person, very positive and patient with my son, who can be a handful sometimes. She is right to the point, by presenting the material for my son to learn in a very fun way. I plan to introduce WyzAnt program to my friends, family members, etc., because I am very satisfied with the service. I received a phone call from WyzAnt, several times, just to check in on me and see if I was satisfied, which I thought was very professional and carrying from their side. Many tutor options
I was just googling for tutors and came on the site. In the beginning I did not realize the amount of info that was available for each tutor and just started emailing people at random and then I got the hang of it and was able to screen more carefully. Did receive a number of emails of interested tutors.

Tutor is knowledgeable.
We only had one tutor respond to our request for an analysis tutor, but we have been very pleased with the tutoring sessions. My daughter's tutor is polite and knowledgeable about the subject. Payment through the site is very easy with Paypal. We have been glad to use the service.

Great Tutor
Needed a tutor for Chemistry and didn't know where to turn. Found WyzAnt, contacted some tutors and found a great tutor for my son. She is very kind, patient and is able to explain Chemistry to my son in a way he can truly understand. So thankful for this service.
Highly Recommend WyzAnt
I was 100% discouraged regarding taking statics at the graduate level. It was a 3 hour weekly class and the professor was moving pretty fast through the formulas. After receiving an F on my first exam I wanted to give up. There was only one tutor assigned to the statistic course and the schedule conflicted with my other courses and work schedule. As I was on the verge of giving up, my boyfriend suggested I hire a tutor and he simply did a Google search. He suggested I consider WyzAnt. I was skeptical at first. However, I passed that course and now I have moved on to the next and final course of statistics thanks to a lot of prayer and my tutor. I have recommend my tutor to others and I feel she is great. I'm so happy I did not give up! ***and I'm happy there are no contracts....you pay as you go.

Wyzant easy for tutor search and selection
Wow! I started this process about a month ago. The tutors we quick to respond to my requests/needs for a tutor. We have found a great tutor, and my son is happy with all the new techniques he is teaching him. I'm soooo glad that I found this site, too bad it wasn't sooner. Even though it has only been three tutoring sessions, I can see the difference in my son,he more confident(geometry&spanish). I have already forwarded WyzAnts info to a couple of friends! You won't be disappointed!

Local tutors, easy way to pay
Found a great tutor for my daughter in Conejo Valley CA, and it was so easy to pay online, not having to deal with the payment directly to the tutor. The tutor only deals with the teaching, not the payment. Love it!

I feel so blessed to have found a tutor for my daughter through WyzAnt. The process was simple. We interviewed about five tutors before settling on ours. He has been a joy to work with and has made such a difference in my daughter's confidence. She actually looks forward to their sessions!

WyzAnt Feedback and Review
I would recommend WyzAnt to anyone looking for a great tutoring service. I called many companies and WyzAnt was by far the most helpful, easy to find an appropriate tutor, and the price is very fair. Many companies I spoke with were hundreds of dollars more and most wanted all the money up front, but did not have a tutor (comments were that they would have to find one AFTER I paid). Our tutor is perfectly suited for my daughter and is doing a great job!
Trusting Wyzant
I am very pleased with the service and tutor I have through WyzAnt. Prior to signing up with WyzAnt I was considering another company. The company charged more and wanted to obligate me to a certain amount of time. I was not comfortable with that because I felt they do not know my financial circumstances; therefore they don't have the right to tell me how to spend my money. Well I'm thankful for their restrictions because they caused me to seek another company (which was WyzAnt). I'm very pleased with the tutor and their payment procedure. My daughter is gaining more confidence and a pace she can handle.
Tutor Experience
My son had a tutor for Algebra 2 tutoring. I think the tutor is amazing and my son felt so comfortable with him. He also had increased confidence in himself after the tutor and him did the initial 2-1/2 hour tutoring session. I am so impressed that this was the first time I tried a tutoring agency and it turned out so well. I also think that the way you run your business - by simply paying by credit card - it was very easy to do and the tutor was completely accommodating. I will definitely recommend your tutoring business to other parents. It also helps that you have photos and information of each tutor so that a parent can pick their own specifications. Thank you for a great experience!
