Very Satisfied with WyzAnt
I've been surprised by how easy it is to use WyzAnt. The customer service representatives have been very nice when I've had questions. The tutor we located through WyzAnt is fantastic. I've already recommended this service to others because it works very well. It is a great resource. One of the best parts is not having to deal with monetary transactions. Our experience has been very positive and we are thrilled to have found this service and, thus, a great tutor!
Great tutor search
I thought your site was very helpful for finding a tutor. I did not like not having the phone number for the tutor, but I get why you do not provide it. You have high caliber tutors. Great job.
Pointed in the right direction by customer support
WyzAnt pointed me in the right direction when looking for a tutor for my son that has high functioning autism. He needed a specific learning style so he could properly understand different concepts of learning. He has trouble staying on task, giving up due to not understanding material, as well as having trouble with his organizational skills. The past school year has been very difficult for him due to fighting for his IEP (teachers not understanding his learning style due to his AS) and him giving up on school in general because he was failing everything and being retained. With that said, we were at our wits end when I first found wyzant.com; he was so negative about school that he would not even talk about his future education like he used to. He is now a happy, more confident 14 year old boy pushing himself to succeed. The tutor that we were referred to had an extensive background as well as experience with his AS. Through her experience, she has been able to turn him into a more positive student that looks forward to her coming rather than being discouraged with learning. We came up with a plan that would work for his specific needs and reward systems for accomplishing goals. I would definitely refer WyzAnt.com to anyone who is looking into tutoring. We look forward to seeing our son thrive now with his education, as does he! Thank you Lysa (from Canton) for being there, taking the time that you did and helping him look towards the future again.

Great Tutor Search and Very Convenient
I am looking for a tutor for my daughter for the longest time. This is the best, flexible and most convenient service I have found during my search over the past several months. The qualifications of the tutors are listed on line. You can choose the tutor who fits your needs. You are able to contact the tutor via email, to ask them questions, before committing to anything. I thought that was the best service ever. Payment plans are very flexible, we love it. Our tutor is excellent. Our daughter has connected with him and he has really helped her in Pre-calc. We are very happy with the service. This should be advertised in all the schools. EXCELLENT!!!!
Fantastic for your tutor search
Because of the numerous online scams, I was terrified when I decided to get a tutor for my child. Once I found WyzAnt I was at ease based on the reviews. My tutor is great and connected with my child from the get go. I have already started recommending the site to colleagues.

Found the Perfect Tutor
I couldn't be happier with the tutor I found on WyzAnt. I actually just "googled" math tutors in my town and the WyzAnt link came up. I had never heard of WyzAnt. I loved the way I could search for tutors based on location and subject. Each tutor had a short biography which was extremely helpful - along with a picture!! There were also reviews from current and prior students. I was able to use all of the information to find a tutor that would be a good fit for my son.
Finding a good fit
I used WyzAnt to find a tutor for my High School Junior who needed assistance in Chemistry but also help in getting prepared to take the SAT. Looking thru the list I was able to find a local tutor with those qualifications and was able to get them together right away.
Overall Satisfaction
I am pleased thus far. The tutor is excellent, and my son is making good progress. I do not have any issues with billing. Overall, we are pleased.

So far, I have been very pleased with your service and especially with my new tutor Karin. She is wonderful and we are happy to have found her. She is very patient, works with my grandchild to use approaches that work for her. I haven't had to use the customer support for any reason so I can't comment on that, and as far as the payment for lessons, that seems to be working out O.K.

So far I'm so happy that I chose to use such a great online program to find such a great tutor. The tutor that I found for my daughter has been great, patient and strict, and that's what my daughter needs to be successful!

Helpful customer support - fantastic tutor.
I recently had a problem contacting tutor which customer support quickly helped out with. My daughter and I are very pleased with her tutor - helping with Math. "She is so clever and explains everything in a much clearer way than my teacher or you mummy!"(from my 12 year old 7th grade student) So far my 7th grade girl (who is very bright but needs more time than school gives on math) always ends a math session feeling that the problem pre algebra items she couldn't grasp are actually 'so easy really' when her tutor has gone through them. Her tutor is also very patient and friendly and my daughter enjoys her visits.

Easy to find local tutors.
I was pleased there was such a variety and selection of knowledgeable tutors available near our home. I corresponded with three different tutors and they were all excellent and responsive. I believe the testimonials and the specialties and descriptions of each tutor were very helpful.
