Great Tutor Search and Selection
I found the most wonderful tutor through WyzAnt. I am definitely getting my money's worth. And the ease at which I was able to procure this tutor was due to WyzAnt's website, including the ease of payment via Pay Pal. I will definitely recommend this service to others.
A Wonderful Company and Tutor with Much Expertise
I'm so happy that I found Wyzant. For sometime now, I had been stressed in knowing that my son struggled in math. As a parent, it's hard to see your child struggle and I felt that all of my resources had failed, until I began searching the web for tutors in my area. I appreciated the fact that I could perhaps get an overall picture of each tutor's expertise in all areas in which helped me to decide who was best for my child. I can say today that Thanks to WyzAnt, my son feels more confident in knowing that he has someone that he can trust and can now walk into his math class with his head held high in knowing that he can now achieve in the one class that just a few weeks ago he felt was impossible. I'm very grateful to my WyzAnt family and especially grateful to my son's tutor Renee!!
Motivating Tutor
I started looking for a tutor for my son, who recently started the sixth grade. It is a big transition for a child, since he is now responsible for multiple classes, keeping a planner, and the change in intensity and what is expected of him as a student. I found his tutor on WyzAnt.com, which offers a wide variety of tutors. This allowed me innumerable choices and I was able to take my time and find a tutor that, so far, seems a perfect fit. His tutor exhibits the qualities that I feel are necessary to help my son be successful in school. The payment set-up is convenient and easy, and I am receiving updates after each lesson.
Web tutoring
I am a single working mother with an amazing son who has been struggling in math for a few years now. We were not getting anywhere working together, or with his very busy math teacher. He is in Algebra this year and in high school next year. I did not want to go through another year with this math issue. I thought I will never be able to afford a math tutor! Then I found WyzAnt on line and e-mailed a tutor I could afford! I set up an account in your secure website and e-mailed the tutor I had in mind. In the same day not only did she e-mail me back but so did a few others! I was SO pleased! She has worked out wonderfully! Thanks so much WyzAnt!
Provided a great and useful service
When we began looking for a Spanish tutor for my son I thought it was going to be a long drawn out process. One of the first sites I stumbled upon was WyzAnt and I am so glad. The process was so simple. I searched through their tutor database, emailed potential tutors that were in my area. I received responses almost immediately. The tutor that I had initially emailed responded, as did eight others that I didn't even take time out to email. The same day that I joined on WyzAnt I found my tutor and a couple days later my son had his first tutoring session. Everything about our experience has been positive. We found an excellent tutor, and my son's grade has already began to improve. I feel comfortable, because I know that WyzAnt runs back ground checks, so I am confident that I have chose a competent tutor and someone I feel safe having around my son without my constant supervision. When I placed my ad for a tutor I received many responses, so I had plenty of people to chose from. The tutor I chose was flexible on times and location. We are three sessions in and each time she has been prompt and when the hour is up, she always makes sure that my son fully understands everything that she has explained and makes sure that he does not have any more questions. She takes her time and is very patient.
Fortunate to have found Jen
After just briefly searching the internet for a tutor I stumbled upon WyzAnt and found Jen. The whole process has been so simple and has exceeded my expectations. I purchased a package and after each session, money is just pulled form my account so I don't have to worry about payment after each session. I also like that Jen writes a short paragraph about what she covered in the session as I often don't get details from my daughter. She has been eager to help and has been very flexible in terms of her availability. She explains not only the "how" but also the "why" which is very important to my daughter's learning style.
Easy Search and Selection
What a great way to find a tutor and get started quickly! The site is easy to use and has plenty of information about the prospective tutors. There are multiple tools on the site that can be used to find and evaluate which tutors would best meet your needs. There is a wide selection of subject areas that are available for selection if you need a tutor for one subject or multiple subjects. The cost is known upfront once you select the tutor and the payment process is easy and secure and can be accessed prior to any lesson. I've been asking around for tutors at the school and other parents, with no success . . . this tool is terrific! The customer support is also terrific and response was very quick and helpful.

finding a tuitor through wyzant has been very easy. to be able to comunicate and make payments through your system makes is all the better. the tuitor i found has been great and my son likes her and her style of teaching. being able to have a one on one session has been good for him and her shows his work to his teachers at school. I have no problem in refering wyzant to others l;ooking for additional help. also is is goog that the tuitors list there fees when looking as possible assistance so that you know up frount what the tuitors fee is.
Great Service
A week ago I thought I'd have trouble hiring a good tutor for my son. Luckily, I found WyzAnt on the web and the same day was able to line up a great tutor. The first lesson was yesterday, and we're very pleased with the quality of instruction. Our son even seemed to enjoy it!
