Great way to find a tutor qualified in difficult curriculum
My daughter was struggling in a Calculus 2 at a college level and needed a qualified instructor fast. I have never hired a tutor before and thought it would be impossible to find someone able to teach mathematics well at this level. Wyzant enabled us to find the right person at a reasonable price. While I was nervous at first to use the service, it worked out well for us. We communicated with the tutor through the website and Wyzant took care of the billing us and paying the tutor. It was a positive experience.
Wide Range of Tutors to Choose From
After selecting a tutor, I was very pleased with the service provided by WyzAnt. The tutor emailed back in a timely manner and after the initial session, a payment plan was easily set up on line. The tutor is knowledgeable and seems to be a good fit for my daughter in helping her with the critical reading section for the SAT. So far I am satisfied with WyzAnt and would recommend this service to others who are looking for a tutor.
Easy scheduling and payment
The scheduling options made it very easy to select and not have to go back and forth to try and find a convenient time - nice that scheduling can be easy and seamless (along with paying)
Great Tutor
We were fortunate to find a great tutor for our daughter's junior year HS Spanish course. The tutor is a former teacher at very well know schools who chooses to do personal teaching now. My daughter likes and respects her tutor. The tutor has identified the problem areas and has set out to correct them. She uses a lot of positive reinforcement. My daughter is more confidant now.

This site is terrific. The process is quick and easy. WyzAnt makes it so that anyone can find a tutor for their needs in a convenient way. I have had 3 sessions so far and I am happy with the tutor and the entire process.
Positive Tutor Experience
The experience of locating a tutor on the website was very positive. By paying through the website we avoid having to talk about payments and just concentrate on the tutoring lessons. So far we have been very pleased with the whole experience with WyzAnt.

Great tutor
I am a happy parents, so grateful for Wyzant. I wish I would know it about it in the past. Wyzant is an easy tutor company that provides an easy choose and pick tutor by providing the curriculum of each of the tutors. Learning alot
I am very happy & impressed with the lessons so far. I am not only learning the standard language and grammer, but also the true social side of the language, the things that you dont learn from a store purchased CD home learning kit. I will for sure be continuing the lessons with Maria.

Quick and easy
I needed a tutor for college physics and as the site recommended emailed 2 of the ones that looked like a good fit for me. One of them was available and we started the following week. The sessions and payments were all online as well as reminders which was great. The tutor was qualified, personable and knew his subject.This has been a great experience all around.
Wyzant is SOOO convenient!
I love the set-up. It's easy. The tutors are screened and reviewed so it's fairly simple to find a local tutor who is experienced and has helped other students too.

This process was easy and quick and the caliber of tutors is amazing. My daughter had a GREAT first session and already she is more confident about her math. I would highly recommend.
