Great for tutor search
One of my friend used Wyzant before and came highly recommended to find a great tutor from her. I like the fact that you can find so many qualified people at one place and with reviews and back ground checks it is easy to try some one for your child's tutoring needs. First lesson is backed up by Wyzant is also plus feature.
Found a great tutor in minutes
Was feeling overwhelmed as I began a search for Precalculus and Physics tutoring (high school level). I was referred to Wyzant, and quickly found a few leads. Within days I had my daughter set up with a fantastic tutor. Great experience!

I love Wyzant!! It's truly a trusted tutorial resource. Wyzant has a tool which allows you to search for the type of tutor you need (as well as a price to fit everyone's budget), submit a brief email to each of the selected tutors regarding your needs (Wyzant actually duplicates the email and it appears automatically in the email category with each new tutor selection. Therefore, you do not have to re-type...made my life easy), the selected tutors respond and you can discuss the subject to ensure all concerns are addressed prior to scheduling an appointment. In addition, Wyzant payment method is ideal--they have options (Pay Pal is a great one). Once the payment account is secured, the selected tutor sends you a work plan which includes time, date, and a join online category. This is simply an amazing experience!! The tutors are knowledgeable and professional. I will recommend Wyzant to everyone and will continue to use this service!

Amazing experience
I stumbled onto this site by googling tutors in the Albany area. I am a returning student to college after a 32 year break. I was looking for someone to help with writing a research paper. I know the basics, but needed help with organization, citation and mechanics of the skill of writing. I was hoping to come in contact with someone I would feel comfortable with, someone who really cared about my concerns with making myself a better more skilled writer, someone I could trust, to help me get the best grade that I could. I hit the jackpot with my tutor Elizabeth. She was above and beyond what I could have asked for. My tutor was professional, while both kind and friendly, considerate to my availability, and was able to supply me with exactly what I was looking for. My tutor truly cared, and boosted my confidence. I am so pleased with my experience with her. I highly, without any hesitation- recommend her and the Wyzant team. I received and A on my paper by the way. Thank you.

I started using Wyzant last semester as a last result cause Accounting was a new and tricky subject to me and didn't have the luxury of time to spend trying to figuring out complex problems.That was the first time I ever got tutor for any subject whatsoever so far it has been a great Experience. I am hoping to keep using this site for tutorial reference as long I need help to clarify subjects matters that I don't have a good understanding of; at this time 3 for 3 and honestly all of them had 5 stars from me for financial acct 1, Intermediate Alg, and financial Act 2 Believe me I am a returning Student over 50 and because of the knowledgeable tutor selection from the site I feel more confident after every meetings/lessons sessions.
Found a fabulous spanish tutor
Your site helped me locate and employ a fabulous Spanish tutor for my granddaughter. In two weeks, her grades have already gone from Ds to a mid C and I can see that those As and Bs are coming back soon. Our tutor is professional, a delightful person and just really remarkable in her knowledge of the subject matter as well as the school system and giving us tips on how to get more help from the school system. I don't know how we could be more pleased.

Great tutor search and selection
I was hesitant to use this service for the first time but after not being able to find a local tutor right away because of the holidays, the online post of what I was looking for was shown nationwide to other tutors, I got responses from some great tutors across the US that were willing to help on short notice...it was a lifesaver for me! I found an excellent tutor who helped get the job done and payments were all made online which made my life easier. Thank you WyzAnt!
Great Tutor Search and Selection
I have tried other methods to try and find tutors before, but I always ended up being frustrated by the response time of the company that organized the service, the prices, or the tutor's response times, or even the tutor's competence at times. I've used tutors from Wyzant for two subjects so far, and I love it. There are so many tutors to search from, and everything about them is on their page, including rates and reviews, which greatly helped me choose my tutors. The response times from Wyzant and the tutors are prompt, which is unlike any other tutoring website I used. And also, Wyzant seems to pay their tutors fairly, which is very rare in the tutoring industry. I highly recommend Wyzant to anyone who needs tutoring.

I wish I would had known about this site earlier. I would have had a tutor in all my major classes. I am hopeful I will have my B/S in Information System Security degree in the next few weeks.

Our experience with my daughters calculus tutor has been outstanding! I love how easy it is to set up an appointment. Making a payment is easy as well. Easy site to use for quick help
I was able to search the site and easily found a tutor in my area for a price I could live with. My son started with the tutor inside the week I searched. They get along great and meet right in my home. This was a win-win choice to use Wyzant!
Terrific Tutor Search and Screening tool
I found a good number of people who I thought would be a good fit, and any of them would have been I believe, but the selection was large enough that I pinpointed someone who was a great fit in ways I wasn't even shopping for - for example she was able to make suggestions about issues that came up about classwork apart from the actual paper we were editing - because the selection and screening processes had depth and detail. Thanks!

Excellent Selection of Tutors
I have been using Wyzant for about three months. While searching for a tutor to teach me French, I was very impressed with the selection of tutors. All appeared to be well qualified. The tutor I chose to learn from is very good. I am also taking lessons in Spanish. I found the Spanish language tutor through an acquaintance and it so happens that she too is listed on Wyzant. Like my French language tutor my Spanish language tutor is also very good. It appears the Wyzant is very good at the selection process.
Very helpful resource for help with Algebra II
Our son was having some trouble with Algebra II - I remembered how thankful I was when my dad paid for a tutor for my sisters and myself when we were struggling with Algebra so I Googled "help me with algebra" and up popped Wyzant - which I had never heard of before - we were so pleased to find just the right tutor for our son right here in our town of Poulsbo - she has been coming weekly to help and is very much appreciated - the website and app are easy to navigate - thank you Wyzant !!!
Great service
I am grateful for finding this site. There are tutoring services that you have to take your child to and it just feels like school. This service allows my child to get out of the school atmosphere and meet at a local library or coffee shop or book store. My child looks forward to the tutoring because she he classroom atmosphere is stressful for her and this breaks up the homeschooling program that she is currently doing. So, thank you for making it easy for us homeschooling parents.
