Reliable service and system
I've found 2 excellent Italian tutors through Wyzant. The system is quite good giving learners information about prospective tutors so that one can choose a tutor based on individual needs and preferences.
Excellent Tutor Service
I am an adult student who had to take Statistical Methods and Research which was only a 5 week course. Therefore, my time was limited in order to gain the knowledge needed to pass this 4 credit course. The college instruction was good because we were able to do the exercises in class along with group discussion. However I did not have a strong math background which made this course more difficult for me to learn the basic concepts and tools. I needed to use statistical analysis to apply to my research project. I decided to search the web using Google to find a statistics tutor in the Rochester, New York area. I was directed to WyzAnt website. I was impressed with their thought provoking (zip code, mileage range, tutor profile, background check, etc.)Questions that I would not have thought enough to ask. After this process I found several tutors in my area, within 2 days, 5 professional tutors responded to my emails after I gave approval to WyzAnt for these possible tutors to contact me via email. I had several choices of experts readily available for me. I decided to have Amanda to be my tutor because she lives in my area. We met and decided that she could help me agree to a place and time and within a week, I had the additional assistance that I needed to better understand statistics. Amanda was always on time, she tutored me in a manner that did not make me feel uncomfortable (stupid). Amanda explained various concepts in steps until I understood. She did not do the work for me. However, she ensured that I fully understood the process before we moved forward in the statistics exercises. She had the patience to explain the concepts until I got it, and I did!!! I also like the simplicity of the how to process the payments, WyzAnt credit discount, and most importantly, WyzAnt customer service. I needed to know the answer to my question over the weekend, which was WyzAnt off hours. However, I emailed customer service and within the same day, I was given an answer via my email to my question. WyzAnt is an excellent tutoring service that was created thoughtfully, professionally, and is nationally known. I have referred WyzAnt tutor service to friends in Dallas, Texas. Thank you, WyzAnt for the opportunity to know about your tutor service use it, and now refer it.
Great Tutor
We used WyzAnt last year and it was great. A fantastic tutor too. Marc made a difference to my son. When I needed a tutor this year for my 10th grade son, I didn't think twice. We had Marc coming back. Thank you for your great service.
Great tutor great experience!
We were able to find a great tutor for our son who was a struggling reader. The tutor was caring and patient and really took her time to help him be successful!!

Just existing as a service is great
Thanks for existing as a service on the Internet. I have found the tutoring effective. The website is easy to use. The customer service answers the phone promptly and resolves my issues quickly.

Everything has been very easy. All of the tutors responded and I am so pleased with the person I chose. Payment is all taken care of and it adds less stress.
Tutor search
So far, Wyzant has been an excellent method of finding and meeting a french tutor. I especially like the payment system through Wyzant. It is simple and efficient. Can't thank WyzAnt enough. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a tutor.
Great Customer Support Reps
This was my first time calling WyzAnt for customer support. The first representative that answered my call was so helpful. I was able to express my concerns regarding my account. She was really concerned and even took the time to research my concerns further and gave me a call back. I returned her call at which time she was on the line with another caller and therefore, I spoke with another representative. This representative also took the time to look into my situation. A couple of minutes later, Rochelle called me back to ensure everything was taken care of. I am VERY impressed with the WyzAnt customer support representatives!!
I like that the service is not complicated
I needed a tutor for my daughter for 6th grade math. I went on the website and was able to have my choice of many different tutors with varying abilities. My neighbor turned me on to it and was also very pleased with WyzAnt. I appreciate the pay as you go option, it really fits my budget.
