Great Italian language Instructor Search
The responses were immediate from my simple request for instructors in my area. Within a week I had a dozen candidates to pick from with a vast range of experience and fees. We selected 2 and ended up choosing the first. Our instructor is fantastic. She is enthusiastic, punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with.
Great service
Despite reaching out to many friends and other parents, no one was able to give me a referral for a tutor. I was reluctant to use WyzAnt but am very pleased with the service provided. I reviewed the reviews and background information on a few tutors and sent inquires which were quickly returned. Within a few days my son met with his tutor, and the experience to date has been great. I would and will recommend this online service to parents.
Great Tutor Search
Finding a great tutor is a hit or miss proposition. There are personal styles that might not mesh with certain students. Each student has an individual learning style with particular needs also. I feel extremely lucky to have found a perfect tutor for my son. She is very positive and encouraging with him and immediately noticed that he needs some confidence boosting mixed in with academics. My son is very shy, yet he feels really comfortable with her. He just scored a 91 on his math test after only two sessions with Tahla. She is just brilliant. It is a privilege to have someone who holds a PH.D tutor my son. My son is very lucky and I know he is grateful to have Tahla around as his tutor. His confidence is strengthening and she is a part of that process. Thank you WyzAnt and thank you Tahla!
Excellent access to tutors and helpful blogs
I've been impressed with the access that WyZAnt has given me to so meant qualified tutors. Also impressed with the info contained in blogs (tips regarding time management, for example) that it occasionally sends to subscribers.
Affordable and convenient tutoring
My daughter, who is a sophomore in high school, needed a tutor for chemistry. I found Wyzant through a Google search. Within minutes of setting up my account, I was able to find a tutor with excellent credentials and availability. Stephanie L. has a great personality and makes it easy for my daughter to understand this subject. She has a lot of availability and is so easy to work with. Would highly recommend Wyzant!

Best place to find a tutor
You solved the problems associated with searching for a tutor. I had always been reluctant to seek a tutor because I was hindered by not knowing where to begin to find one, and if I were to find one, I would have no reliable way of knowing his or her quality until after I'd already paid them for a session. Having a large number of tutors, extensive profiles and reviews for your tutors and being able to locate tutors based on subject and area is the most convenient thing I've come across in a long time.

Great Tutor and Selection
We are really very satisfied with tutors we chose, we will continue to have them whenever we feel our daughter needs help. In the beginning few people we chose reply by saying that they do not tutor kids just grown ups. That could be one thing that we would like to suggest, so tutors can put that in their profile. In that case, families would not choose them and lose time. Other than that we are very happy.

Good tutor
My experience with wyzant is great so far. My tutor helped me understand my math work. I know it will take a while until I can understand every thing but for now every thing is good.

Great way for people to increase their exposure
I needed help improving my chess game, but wasn't sure where to go or how far to travel. Amazingly, I found a tutor who was willing to travel to my neighborhood, and work around my hectic schedule. I admit I was hesitant at first about the service, but my chess tutor made the process very simple and enjoyable. Thanks to WyzAnt for making this possible!
About Wyzant
I found out about Wyzant last year while looking for tutors in the computer listing. I didn't pursuit my effort because I wasn't sure I could trust this method of finding a tutor using the website. Much to my surprise, it's definitely working for me. As of now the tutors have been well informed in the deficient area needed. The tutors have responded at an appropriate time limit and have been pleasant when answering the calls; that also applies to the customer support system. Overall, I'm glad I choice this method.
A great service & a wonderful tutor
Using this service has been a great experience. I am very particular about my confidentiality and I had no problems with this service. They were not e-mailing me every day with other offers or ways to use my credit card on other things and that was the best part. They were timely in reporting the activity of my lessons with the tutor and how my credits were being applied to and from my account. I would definitely stay in good standing with WyzAnt for future service because I will be an active school participant until 2014. I have already recommended the service to some of my peers at school. The tutor I chose was a God send. He walked me through my research as if I were a child. He was patient, he showed a wonderful sense of empathy to me and my situation. I was truly ready to give up and take a failing grade and he pulled me through enough to give me the confidence to make the attempt to send in the material. He showed me compassion to give me the incentive to feel that he was not only getting paid to tutor me but that he would truly like to see me succeed. So yes, I would have to say that using this service has given me something beyond tutoring, it gave me the opportunity to see that people honestly care if you succeed and to be able to trust a business.

Excellent tutor
I couldn't be more pleased with my recent experience with this website. My tutor seems to be the perfect match for me. He was very patient and NOT in a rush. I've had tutoring before but NONE have been able to break down the material in a way where I can grasp it. I know that with continued tutoring I will do great! Finding a tutor was quite easy and the payment method is extremely convenient. I would definitely recommend this site to my fellow classmates.

No more worries
No more asking a thousand people (family, friends, educators) for help in searching for a tutor. It's so convenient at the touch of a button to click on a tutor's profile, price, credentials and chose a fit for us. In addition to the choice to pay for the first visit if you are not satisfied. It was so comfortable not to worry about cash, atm, the bank before the tutor arrival. No exchange of money at all, all payments are paid through WyzAnt site. I was so pleased with my first experience for my children. Unfortunately I just now discovered this site through a girlfriend of mine and started sharing it with all my friends immediately. My boys are in high school now and they are immediately ready and prepared to come out to meet and teach with a prompt and friendly approach and very knowledgeable about their area of interests and most importantly they're honest when they may not be the best fit for you. I used WyzAnt for the first time to find a tutor for my grandson and I was doubly impressed by the results. First, WyzAnt sent me comprehensive data on the background of several tutors - including criminal background checks on my candidates - and then they constantly followed up after I made my selection and got into the tutoring process. Throughout the selection process - and long afterwards when we got deep into the tutoring sessions, WyzAnt gave me great comfort and confidence that it knew what it was doing and that it really cared that I (and my grandson) were getting great and safe care and attention. Second, the tutor I eventually chose (from a large list of qualified candidates) was incredibly qualified and a GREAT teacher. He bonded instantly with my grandson and his parents. He gave fabulous and meaningful tutoring lessons that inspired my grandson to work hard. And he constantly followed up with detailed reports and candid recommendations. COMPLETELY SATISFIED
My experience with Wyzant so far is God sent. My tutor is excellent with my daughter. Come January I know for sure my baby girl will be getting her diploma because she will pass the two regents that has been a nightmare to her. Thank God and thank Wyzant for placing her in our path.
