Easy Tutor Search for GMAT Quant, Professional, Friendly Tutor Found
I easily searched for a tutor for the GMAT Quantitative section. I found the prices on WyzAnt to be significantly cheaper than the GMAT tutors offered by Manhattan GMAT. I emailed Benjamin S. and he responded quickly and we met shortly after. He was happy to come to a place convenient to me and was on time and professional. Ben made sure that we went over the topics I needed help with. He taught me concepts I did not know and he showed me tricks along the way. After each problem Ben would 'regroup' and show me what I learned, what I need to remember for next time and/or bad habits to leave behind! I highly recommend Ben S for tutoring sessions.

My son needed to improve his SAT scores and didn't have a lot of time until his test. Finding a tutor on Wyzant was so easy and the tutor we found, Peter A., was everything we hoped for. He tackled our time crunch with ease, giving our son the right amount of work each night and during each session so that it was helpful but not overwhelming. His subject matter knowledge was impressive and he was able to clarify all of our son's confusions. He was punctual and professional with an easy going manner. I'm happy to report that our son improved his score by over 100 points! I highly recommend both Wyzant and Peter!

I found your web site to be very easy to navigate and to sift through to find the right combination of skill level, location of the tutor and price. We've only used one tutor so far, and she has been very conscientious, always on time, reports the number of hours very accurately and has established good rapport with our son. Easy Way to Find a Great Tutor
I needed a Spanish tutor for my eighth grader, and Wyzant offered so many good candidates. It was simple and quick and we've been very happy with our tutor. I really like the fact that all the payment stuff happens in a timely way through Wyzant. It's nice not to have to worry about having cash on hand or having a check deposited months later.

The responses were immediate from my simple request for instructors in my area. Within a week I had a dozen candidates to pick from with a vast range of experience and fees. Great Tutor Search
Finding a great tutor is a hit or miss proposition. There are personal styles that might not mesh with certain students. Each student has an individual learning style with particular needs also. I feel extremely lucky to have found a perfect tutor for my son. She is very positive and encouraging with him and immediately noticed that he needs some confidence boosting mixed in with academics. My son is very shy, yet he feels really comfortable with her. He just scored a 91 on his math test after only two sessions with Tahla. She is just brilliant. It is a privilege to have someone who holds a PH.D tutor my son. My son is very lucky and I know he is grateful to have Tahla around as his tutor. My daughter, who is a sophomore in high school, needed a tutor for chemistry. I found Wyzant through a Google search. Within minutes of setting up my account, I was able to find a tutor with excellent credentials and availability. You solved the problems associated with searching for a tutor. I had always been reluctant to seek a tutor because I was hindered by not knowing where to begin to find one, and if I were to find one, I would have no reliable way of knowing his or her quality until after I'd already paid them for a session. Having a large number of tutors, extensive profiles and reviews for your tutors and being able to locate tutors based on subject and area is the most convenient thing I've come across in a long time.

We are really very satisfied with tutors we chose, we will continue to have them whenever we feel our daughter needs help. In the beginning few people we chose reply by saying that they do not tutor kids just grown ups. That could be one thing that we would like to suggest, so tutors can put that in their profile. In that case, families would not choose them and lose time. Other than that we are very happy.

About Wyzant
I found out about Wyzant last year while looking for tutors in the computer listing. I didn't pursuit my effort because I wasn't sure I could trust this method of finding a tutor using the website. Much to my surprise, it's definitely working for me. As of now the tutors have been well informed in the deficient area needed. The tutors have responded at an appropriate time limit and have been pleasant when answering the calls; that also applies to the customer support system. Overall, I'm glad I choice this method.
A great service & a wonderful tutor
Using this service has been a great experience. I am very particular about my confidentiality and I had no problems with this service. They were not e-mailing me every day with other offers or ways to use my credit card on other things and that was the best part. They were timely in reporting the activity of my lessons with the tutor and how my credits were being applied to and from my account. I would definitely stay in good standing with WyzAnt for future service because I will be an active school participant until 2014. I have already recommended the service to some of my peers at school. The tutor I chose was a God send. He walked me through my research as if I were a child. I used WyzAnt for the first time to find a tutor for my grandson and I was doubly impressed by the results. First, WyzAnt sent me comprehensive data on the background of several tutors - including criminal background checks on my candidates - and then they constantly followed up after I made my selection and got into the tutoring process. my experience so far with wyzant...
i found the entire process quite pleasant-from searching for a tutor to her actually appearing in our home...the only problem i find is that the college students are not as responsible as the older tutors in terms of returning phone calls/emails-maybe it's just a cooincidence but i found that the more "mature" tutors with whom i dealt were more reliable regarding returning calls, etc. in addition, the payment method you employ is very easy. thanks wyzant

It was very hard for us to find a tutor who was willing to do a little traveling. It took us weeks to find a tutor. There are not enough tutors for the Bronx. There seems to be more male tutors available then female tutors, which our daughter feels more comfortable with a female. When we did find one we love her but unfortunely, because of personnal reasons; she can no longer tutor our daughter. So, the search continues.
Exceptional tutor service
Needed a tutor for my daughter who was having trouble with algebra and was not sure how to proceed with search. I found WyzAnt through google search and decided to give it a try. Finding a tutor was easy once I specified subject area and in fact I was shown a choice of several available tutors. I emailed my first choice and within the hour he responded. I added my paypal information to the WyzAnt site which was easy and then set up appointment for the tutor to start tutoring my daughter. He was punctual, friendly, and very patient with my daughter. The Best Decision
I needed a tutor ASAP, and combing through the web I found Wyzant. I wasn't sure if it was the best however I took chance and it was rewarded. It was easy to get in touch with my tutor and take lessons, picture and sound was clear. The chalkboard came in handy and very easy to use to show examples. An Extremely Positive Experience
My whole experience with Wyzant has been extremely positive. I was hesitant to contact a tutoring service in the first place, but after contacting several colleges in my search for tutors for my child, and also after posting a number of signs for tutors - both, with absolutely no success, I decided to give Wyzant a try. And it's been a great experience. I initially chatted online with a Wyzant customer rep and then called Wyzant directly. I found both reps extremely friendly and helpful. The tutor we decided on has been amazing for my child. He's not only knowledgeable, but extremely patient and thorough. He's a wonderful tutor - a "real find!" But what's also amazing is that compared to the initial stress and frustration of trying to find a tutor on my own, the process of working through Wyzant is so much easier. I wish I had known about Wyzant several months earlier. Math tutoring with Garry T.
First off let me tell you about my experience as a whole, I wanted to request math tutoring for me to brush up for the GMAT being that I have not taken math classes in about (4) years I have forgotten a bunch of terminology, rules, and so forth. I came across this website and found it to be very informative, each tutor has their description listed, where they went to school, what they studied, subjects they have tutored in. I like how you can select many individuals whom you would like to get more information on, and it directs you to email them directly. It’s great because there is no 3rd person we have to go through everything is set up on the web site. Once you speak to the tutors you have emailed and selected one which you feel is best, you can enter you billing information online, and select a tutor. Once I had paid for my first lesson, I simply emailed the tutor whom I wanted to meet with and we both set up a time and date. It’s great because the tutor was working around my schedule; I work full time so time to meet with tutors is limited for me. We met in a public place, and got to work. I didn’t purchase a package because I wanted to check out the whole experience first. After my first lesson I went and purchased a package at a discount price, and who doesn’t love a discount.

Fits my Needs
I wanted to learn some basic Japanese when I travel there for business. I have no need to learn the characters as I need to demonstrate the respect I feel when visiting Tokyo. This was an easy way to find a tutor that met my needs. My disposable time is limited and the tutor comes to my office, is on time, thorough and tailors the program to my needs. It is easy to register, pay and coordinate classes/programs. From the initial sessions, the tutor is well informed not just about the language, but about the culture, which is so important. Great experience thus far!

I have had an excellent experience using Wyzant Inc. I was looking on the internet for a possible tutor for my son, I never heard about Wyzant before. Very good selection of tutors and good support
I really liked the selection of tutors on the site and especially appreciated the 1 hour free lesson guarantee. I met with someone for an hour but didn't think it was a good fit and decided to go with another tutor from this site. WyzAnt reimbursed me for that first hour as part of their guarantee policy. That makes it really easy to try and find a good tutor without the pressure of paying for someone that you didn't like. The site is also easy to navigate and I would recommend this highly.
