Professional, knowledgeable, Fast
I had 2 R questions. One was a data wrangling question. Brian W. addressed that question thoroughly, showed me the code, explained why the code was written that way, and walked me through running the code. As we progressed in our discussion, he noticed the code I thought I wanted did not do what I needed the code to do. We backed up, revised the code, and I got the answer I needed. Brian explained to me the reasons what I had done was wrong, and taught me R basics in the process. We then turned to a var.Test question. Brian answered a question that had bedeviled me for some time. The code he gave me can be (and will be!) used for other procedures. It was an absolutely enjoyable hour; I learned much more than I expected to learn, and I'm sure as I continue w/ R I will return to Brian in the future. I can't say enough good about Brian as an R and stats tutor.
He is very helpful and down to earth.
He does a great job of explaining things. He goes slow and makes sure you understand things before moving on. Also makes notes while I work so I have something to go over by the next time I see him. He makes a very difficult subject seem easy.

My son is very happy working with Wesley. It has been a relief to have someone that he can count on to go over the topics that the teachers at school rush through. It has been a breeze working with him via Skype. Saves us all so much travel time. Thank you to Wesley!
Fun and very helpful!
Anna is fun to work with and very helpful! I'm not a native English speaker, but pretty advanced. I've been looking for someone like Anna for some time to listen to what I need and to shape the classes around that. She's a good listener and very patient, also very knowledgeable about the English language as she is also a writer. I recommend her highly.
Tremendous Help!
Alan has been a tremendous help with my interview preparation for data scientist internship positions. Throughout the numerous sessions we’ve had so far, Alan’s help and advice has allowed me to drastically enhance my behavioral and technical interviewing abilities. Alan also researched common data science interview questions and has provided great advice and insight in regards to what interviewers are looking for. I have already noticed an improvement in my overall confidence heading into these interviews and I’m looking forward to meeting with Alan going forward!
Awesome French tutor!
Petra tutuored my daughter, who was starting high school in September and felt somewhat uncomfortable with French, during the summer. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and successfully helped my daughter transition to French 3 as a freshman. My daughter now feels she has a solid basis in French to build on and flourish- all thanks to Petra!
Knowledgeable and patient tutor
Charles tutored me in microeconomics. Not only did Charles demonstrate great knowledge in micro but he also explained/taught everything just as great. I was able to go back and answer certain questions within minutes when they took me hours to complete before being tutored by him

Michael was an excellent excel tutor. He was always on time, very professional and made learning excel really accessible. He came prepared with a detailed workbook, a full agenda and lots of patience! Would 10/10 recommend.
Excellent Math Tutor
Brian is very patient and has a great grasp of the concepts. He was able to break difficult material down and make it easier to comprehend. If you're looking for a Calculus tutor, Brian is your guy.
Patient and encouraging
I appreciate that Minhee is patient and doesn't rush me but still pushes me to move forward and not give up. I like that she took the time to talk with me about my motivation for learning Korean and my preferred learning style. It's obvious that she's an experienced teacher who enjoys her work and it's comforting knowing that I can trust her to guide me on this language-learning journey. If you're reading this and wondering if Minhee would be a good fit for you, why not book a lesson with her and give it a try? On top of being a good teacher, she's also a very likable person, so at the very least you'll spend an hour in good company.
