High Quality Tutor
I turned to WyzAnt as I needed help with quantitative data analysis for my Masters thesis, after speaking with several tutors I decided to work with Zoltan based on his expertise in statistics and his knowledge in the area of conjoint analysis. Zoltan asked the RIGHT questions and made sure he understood the assignment before we proceeded, he was able to provide guidance throughout the entire process and stuck to all the deadlines. He was very easy to reach via phone and email with any questions. I would highly recommend Zoltan as a professional and reliable tutor.
Fabulous tutor!
I had a wonderful trip to Poland in September 2021 -- one reason it was so great was because of my Wyzant Polish teacher, Marta S. I visited Warsaw, Krakow and Gdansk, and also went on a day trip to Bialystok, where my Jewish grandfather Leo emigrated from over 100 years ago. Polish is such a difficult language, almost as difficult as Chinese and Arabic according to the U.S Department of State. But Marta not only made Polish easier, but fun! I felt comfortable reading signs, menus and even exchanging some greetings with Poles I met. Many younger Poles speak English, but they were so delighted when a native English-speaker could actually pronounce words correctly. Marta also answered my questions about Polish history, food and the culture. My classes with her were language classes and cultural orientation classes combined! I highly recommend Marta. Besides being a terrific teacher—knowledgeable, patient and flexible—she is a terrific person.

My son really liked Mr. Tim. He was really focused on my son, very attentive. He assigned homework for my son to do during the week to strengthen his skills. I'm really satisfied with my selection and look forward to working with him on a consistent basis.
Excellent Tutor
Sonam is a fantastic tutor. He is knowledgeable and patient with his lessons. He will review the steps of working problems until you are able to independently complete the problem or question on your own. I also liked that he is professional and always on time, even early for lesson appointments. Sonam is responsible and reliable, being quick to respond to emails, phone messages and texts. He is encouraging and boosts your confidence before exams and is genuinely happy to hear good reports of exam grades. He cares about his student a lot. Working with him is both productive and fun!!! Excellent tutor, will continue to work with him in the future.
Fantastic Tutor
Mike was a fantastic Latin tutor for my teen son. He made learning Latin fun and was a wonderful cheerleader, encouraging my son and getting him excited about the language. My son switched to a different high school two weeks after it had started. He was thrown into a Latin class (never studied it before) and didn’t benefit from the foundational learning of the first weeks. He struggled for months. Then Mike stepped in and quickly assessed what my son needed to learn and how best to build his Latin skills. He made worksheets and provided very helpful hints (making flash cards and practicing translations). Furthermore, Mike was patient yet persistent with scheduling focused Latin time despite my son’s time conflicts during myriad sports seasons. Mike knows how to work with teens to get them focused and excited about a topic. He also managed to prevent my son from failing Latin and gave him the confidence to do pretty well in the class in the end. Thank you, Mike!

Since my 7th-grade son was unavailable for his second session, we discussed my son's year-end school progress report for Spanish instead. Austin explained several strategies to enhance his grammar development, and some challenges with his current school's approach with which I agree. We are planning to continue with Austin to further my son's Spanish during the summer. My son thought very highly of his first session with Austin too.
