Very patient and encouraging

Nune was a very positive and encouraging teacher. She was very detailed with my daughter in how to hold the violin and the stance she should take when playing it. She was thorough about knowing the notes on the violin and memorizing the different parts of the violin. She conducted herself very professionally and was an excellent teacher. My daughter always looks forwards to her classes with Nune.

I will always contact Tony!

Tony helped me pull together concepts that were not expanded upon during my class lectures or in my trig text book. he was very quick to recognize and explain what the problems were asking and how to solve them.

Engaging, smart, thorough

Tracie was superb at asking great personal questions and keeping my daughter engaged and talking while assessing and teaching her as well. She explained what the articulators were and how they correlate with different sounds and explained what she was looking for when assessing her, keeping Naomi interested and involved. Tracie is knowledgeable, likable and honest.

Professional, knowledgeable, Fast

I had 2 R questions. One was a data wrangling question. Brian W. addressed that question thoroughly, showed me the code, explained why the code was written that way, and walked me through running the code. As we progressed in our discussion, he noticed the code I thought I wanted did not do what I needed the code to do. We backed up, revised the code, and I got the answer I needed. Brian explained to me the reasons what I had done was wrong, and taught me R basics in the process. We then turned to a var.Test question. Brian answered a question that had bedeviled me for some time. The code he gave me can be (and will be!) used for other procedures. It was an absolutely enjoyable hour; I learned much more than I expected to learn, and I'm sure as I continue w/ R I will return to Brian in the future. I can't say enough good about Brian as an R and stats tutor.

He is very helpful and down to earth.

He does a great job of explaining things. He goes slow and makes sure you understand things before moving on. Also makes notes while I work so I have something to go over by the next time I see him. He makes a very difficult subject seem easy.

Very flexible. Kristen was thorough and really explained the Algebra concepts well.

Kristen was great! Very flexible with accommodating a last minute session. She was patient, thorough and explained Algebra concepts clearly. She even asked for subject matter ahead of time in order to give some homework practice problems.

Tremendous!

My son is very happy working with Wesley. It has been a relief to have someone that he can count on to go over the topics that the teachers at school rush through. It has been a breeze working with him via Skype. Saves us all so much travel time. Thank you to Wesley!
