In D.O.T.S (Diffrence Of Two Squares) can I write (for example) what X is equal to as a decimal, or does it have to be a fraction?
Question:
4x2 - 81=0
(2x-9)(2x+9)=0
Do I have to write: x=-9/2 , x=9/2
OR CAN I WRITE: x=4.5 , x=-4.5
