Is it possible to get a Series 7 without going to school?

It is possible, but I would argue that you would be at a larger disadvantage compared to someone who went to school, especially someone who has studied finance/accounting/economics and has a solid foundation in many of the topics already in the Series 7. With that being said, it is not impossible. Even for those with backgrounds in finance, the study hours are long and require a great deal of practice and revision. With that being said, it should not discourage you if the opportunity is presented to you.
