I use Kotlin and Android almost as much as I do Swift and iOS. Roughly speaking, you could say Swift compares to Kotlin, Objective-C compares to Java, etc. More recently, SwiftUI compares to Composer.
If you learn one set of skills, you will find the corresponding set of skills familiar, though you will need to learn lots of details.
Of course, there are pros and cons to each system, but people will continue to want apps on both iOS devices and Android for a long time.
