Read through a chapter at a time. After a chapter watch a video on the material. There are free resources online like capital advantage tutoring that cover the whole book in small bites. That is free on YouTube. Maybe your material has videos. You may find another study program to be a better fit for your learning style. My experience of working with hundreds of successful clients and many of the top study programs (i.e., STC, Pass Pefect, Kaplan, Training Consultants, Exam FX, Knopman, and others) has demonstrated that the best answer is "it depends" on the learning your personal learning style and the focus of the respective program. That's because some of the programs are more high level conceptual about the topics as compared to other programs are more applications based with specific examples of applying test taking techniques and approaches to certain types of questions. My experience has also demonstrated that some clients find a complementary mix of two different programs to be best for their learning style.

Hello Tamia,

You will need to pass the SIE, Security Industry Essentials, series #7 top off and the series #63, state exams. Without a finance background and any on the job training I would highly recommend a tutor with years of hands on brokerage industry experience.

You can select the frequency and length of your tutor sessions so you only take them as you need them while you go through the material.
