Figure out how far each ran in an hour - and see if that is more than the halfway

Do a unit analysis to get the unite=s you want distance/hour (or hour/distance)

So Han runs 12 minutes/mile ( 1hour/60minutes) = distance in one hour = 5 miles

Tyler runs at 15 minutes/mile (1hour/60 minutes) = > 4 miles in one hour

So if Hans ran 5 miles east (right) and Tyler 5 miles west (left opposite) - they did not meet.
