Am I allowed to wear my NWUs in public?

Question

There is a lot of talk about wearing NWUs in public and I have yet to get a clear answer. So I'm going to ask, am I allowed to wear them being that I served. If not where am I allowed to wear them? Am I allowed to wear them at all?
