The area of the square is 2√2+3.  What is the length of one side?  I understand how to come up with exact answer, but I need to keep in a similar format as the options below.  These are the answer choices for the question.  How is it possible to factor this problem while keeping the radicals?

 

a.) √2-1

b.) √2+1

c.) 2√2-1

d.) 2√2+1

2 + 2√2 + 1 = (√2)² + 2√2 + 1

(√2)² + 2√2 + 1 = (√2 + 1)²
