if the frequency of a transverse wave has 10 herts, how many vibrations is the wave making per second?

I have P = 1/10

 

if the wave lenght is 100 meters, what is the speed of the wave?

 

I have wave speed = frequency x wavelength      10 x 100 = 1000 wave speed

"Frequency is defined as a number of cycles per unit time" (units are 1/s=Hz).  Therefore 10 Hz=# vibrations/sec., as you have

 

Others are correct; watch your units though...period is a measurement of time (s), and speed has units m/s
