To find the unit price, divide the cost by the number of items.

 

So for one bag of pretzels that cost $3, the unit cost is $3  (i.e. 3/1)

But for the five bags of pretzels that cost $10, the unit cost is $2 (i.e. 10/5)

 

So the 5 bags of pretzels which cost $10 has the lower unit price.
