Therefore,
m = DV
Since the density of water is approximately 1 g/mL (it's about 0.972 but unless otherwise stated, I'll simplify to 1), and the V = 100mL, it follows that:
m = 100mL(1 g/mL)
m = 100g
Then we add the mass of the container:
100 + 50 = 150 grams
