Music Production Student in Brooklyn, NY 11218

I'm 19 years old and I'm trying to get into recording bass guitar covers and posting them on social media. My current setup is plugging my bass guitar into a tonex one tone modeler then into logic pro. I can get a decent tone but sometimes it sounds muddy and im not the best at eq-ing and putting on the finishing touches to make it sound professional.
