I’m interested in tutoring for my son who is in the 4th grade. We are testing waters to see about homeschooling. I’d love someone to teach him science, trees, insects, lava, etc. He does have dyslexia and a developmental delay but kind and loves learning.

I am reaching out to inquire about whether your teaching approach might be a good fit for my child (1st grader).
My child really enjoys hands-on, project-based learning, especially in STEM areas. I am looking for an afterschool or weekend teacher who can help incorporate meaningful learning into projects, such as introducing concepts from physics, chemistry, math, and other areas of general science in an engaging and practical way.
I am particularly interested in a cross-curricular approach, where different subjects can be connected through creative or exploratory projects. This is not for exam preparation or competition, but rather to build curiosity, understanding, and a love for learning.
Could a tutor please share more about their teaching style and whether they have experience with this type of project-based, interdisciplinary learning? I would also appreciate any examples of similar work done with students.
