I need a Regents tutor for my daughter who can focus on the Algebra portion. I'm only interested in in-person lessons.

I have a 15 years old son who is a freshman in HS and, though intelligent, he's been very neglectful of his home assignments and fell behind in his grades. We need help.

I have a 7th grader and a 9th grader that are in need of a little math help.

My daughter is 15 and currently is homeschooled. We are planning on her returning to school in the fall and would like for her to prepare for the EOCT test as well as cover any areas where she may be weak.

I'm looking for someone to help my daughter with Algebra 1. She's in 6th grade and way over her head with this class, but has to pass it. So we could ideally use someone who could work with her twice a week through the end of May, ideally at our house in Logan Circle for at least one of those days, and maybe somewhere near the Tenleytown metro on Thursdays.

My son is in 9th grade basic math and needs help right away...drastically!! He must pass math to play football. He has problems with motivation and actually working the problems due to not understanding things. We need to begin almost immediately.

I am looking for a tutor for my 12 year old son who currently Middle School. He is a VERY gifted math student and is taking honors Algebra I in 7th grade. He got a B first quarter and an A- 2d quarter and he currently has an A. He doesn't actually need much help understanding the math concepts but he likes to have someone work with him while he does his math homework. Mostly, I am looking for someone to work with him while he does his Algebra homework and mentor him a bit. I was hoping to find a high school junior or senior who is an outstanding math student and is familiar with Fairfax County teaching methods. Ideally, we would like to find a tutor who can work with him both at my house and at his dad's house. A few hours a week is all he really needs, preferably after school or early evening for an hour 1-2 days a week and maybe an hour on Saturday or Sunday.

I'm 51 years old. I'm finishing one career (law enforcement) and hoping to start another one. I have applied to become a watchmaker and will be interviewing for the Lititz Watch Technicum in a few weeks. The two-year course requires a solid understanding of basic Algebra, which I haven't had to use in quite some time.
