I’m looking for help for my eight year old. We are homeschooling and her reading progress has been slow. No formal diagnosis, yet.

I am interested in tutoring services for my 8-year-old son. He needs additional support with ELA, including reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and grammar.
I'm looking for someone who is patient, engaging, and experienced in working with young children.

I am a current Family Nurse Practitioner student at USUHS currently taking on a physiology course. Currently working cellular physiology, fluid compartments, excitable membranes, action potentials, K+ NA+ gates, etc. I would like to get a good grasp on the content early and understand it in the beginning of the semester to start off strong and to ensure that I have a really good foundation and understanding as a future provider.

My son is nearing the end of 9th grade and he has done really well in school but still struggles with reading (his rate is slow and comprehension is impacted when he gets the words wrong.) As he is getting closer to SATs, we'd really like to find a tutor who can meet with him (especially over summer vacation) to help improve his reading skills. We live in Crofton (Chapman Farms).
