I'm currently taking General Chemistry 2 and I am struggling with both the lecture and the pre-lab assignments. For lecture, I'm having trouble connecting the general theory to more complex problems. At times, I do struggling with correctly plugging values into my calculator as well as how to rearrange certain equations to find missing values. For lab, I'm struggling to understand how to use the information given in the lab packet to complete the pre-lab assignment as the lectures are no longer translating directly to what is being taught in lab. I often find myself scavenging the internet and my textbook for anything that will even remotely related to the lab in an attempt to find answers.

My son is currently a student at Harvard and is taking Math MA, Introduction to Functions and Calculus I. The course combines algebra and precalculus foundations with differential calculus and places a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding, functions, modeling, rates of change, derivatives, and problem solving. We are looking for someone who can work with him consistently throughout the semester and follow his actual Harvard course materials, notes, and problem sets rather than a general calculus curriculum.
