Hi, I'm teacher Kathy. I taught for 13 years in Asia, from young kids to adults in classrooms and private tutoring. My last full-time teaching job was in a private high school in Taiwan, teaching English and Social Studies. I also homeschooled my kid for her 7th grade. Currently, I tutor older Chinese kids ESL online on the weekends. I excel in Humanities and ESL. Let me help you with your studies.

I view the student as being an integral part of his/her own education and personal transformation. I assume students value what interests them as well as value their own personal development, time and quality of life. By using online tutors as a resource, they exercise more voice in their education, are their own captains and less passive in their learning.

I taught ESL in Asia for 13 years in Asia, a small stint in Korea but mostly in Taiwan. Since returning back to the US, I did online ESL teaching via VIPKID which is based in China. Overall, I have many years teaching ESL, grammar, composition, conversation, Business English, Social Sciences, and Literature. My academic background is in Political Science, and I have a MA in International Development, so I can do academic proofreading as well.
