Full tuition scholarship recipient, Junior at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. 770 SAT Math. 5/5 AP Calculus AB. My primary focus is tutoring math at all levels — from Calculus AB, BC, Multivariable Calculus, to Differential Equations. Due to my expertise, I know what it takes to succeed. As a fellow student, I understand the challenges of learning complex material. I aim to make math less intimidating by being patient, supportive, and building genuine connections to keep students engaged. My academic background includes programming in C++, MATLAB, Julia, and Python, with a strong focus on data structures and algorithms.

I have years of experience tutoring students from middle school to college in subjects like Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and SAT Math. My tutoring journey started with helping AP Calculus students after school, where I’d guide them through homework by doing problems ahead of time and breaking concepts down step-by-step. Beyond one-on-one tutoring, I regularly lead study groups for college-level math courses like Calculus II and Differential Equations, which has strengthened my ability to teach in group settings as well. I’m dedicated to helping students not just improve their grades, but also develop confidence, curiosity, and a lasting appreciation for math. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

C++

C++

I have hands-on experience coding in C++ through my coursework in EECS 280: Programming and Data Structures at the University of Michigan. One of the major projects I completed was developing the card game Euchre, which required applying advanced programming concepts such as for loops, while loops, class objects, enumerations, and modular programming. This project involved organizing code across multiple .cpp implementation files and .hpp header files, demonstrating my ability to manage complex codebases and write clean, maintainable code. Working collaboratively with a partner, we successfully completed the project with a grade of 85%, marking it as the fourth of six substantial C++ projects in the course. This experience strengthened my proficiency in C++, problem-solving skills, and understanding of software development fundamentals—qualifying me to take on further programming challenges in C++ confidently.

I have strong experience in preparing students for standardized math exams, including the SHSAT and SAT. I previously tutored students in Staten Island, New York, for SAT Math, and I personally took the SHSAT Math when I was in high school, giving me first-hand insight into the exam. My expertise is supported by scoring 770/800 on the SAT Math section and advancing to higher-level courses such as Calculus at the University of Michigan. This background allows me to explain SHSAT math topics with both clarity and depth.

Crystal clear teaching

Thank you so much for your very clear way of handling my problems Anthony. I'm not sure even I was able to clearly put together my questions right. Still, you answered them precisely and even got me to think outside the box. I really appreciate that you guided me and didn't just give me the answers like most other tutors would, so that they could get things over with. Clearly your understanding of math is very deep and you're able to communicate it very clearly. Thank you for your help and I look forward to the many tutoring sessions with you in the future!
